Still sketching Chapter 1, and I have the monsters in their true forms now.

Made a couple more Settei sketches, I think Daniel's faces are closest to Rei's facial design I've ever drawn so far, except for face #1, which is the derpiest face for him I've made

Another video coming forward, An Opening and an Ending animation (some scenes, but not all of them, were fixed in the opening.) You might get a kick out of seeing the "evolution" of the character designs in the ending animation.

After a couple of months, Chapter 1's sketching is completed, Line art is next, followed by color, but you can see the story now.

Chapter 2, page 25, I am sketching chapter 2 right now, and will be doing lineart and coloring for chapter 1 in tandem.

after realizing that one artist was missing in the pack, I decided to retrace his style for Tokyoma Gaiden in a style I'd like to call, "The Head sheet"

The artist for this post I've retraced is... Masahiro Ando!

There are also two unrecognized characters, It's time they got introduced.

Anjiro (The Shitennou in glasses) - He will stop at nothing to achieve his plans and will even sabotage the plans of his fellow Shitennou to do it, he is one of the most cunning members of the Dark Agency! (his words)

Kent Shinji, A.K.A. Shinji Kujaku - Dark Agency Shitennou Codename: Malachite - He appeared out of the labs of the Dark Agency one day as the result of a biological clone experiment of which the DNA of two people could be combined, as for why he took the codename "Malachite"? ... My guess is is that Daniel Kano is not the only one to have watched the DiC Dub In-Universe.

(If anyone wants to toss in a backstory for his DiC/DHX Dub counterpart, be my guest )

This looks good! I can see your art style improving as you do more of these. Can I ask - What is the origin of your OCs? They seem to be a combination of Moon People and the Aliens from Sailor Moon R, which I think is very cool.

The origins were guessed at quite a bit but the basic rundown is:

Pinako Aino = DD Girl + Sailor Senshi
Daniel Kano = Myself + Both Sailor Marses
Katerina Suino = Toon Makers' Mercury
Val The Csar = An idea predating My going to high school, originally a multipurpose OC
Delphius = Toon Makers' Prince Darian
Narun = Naru with Morga's features

And the more recent reveals:
Anjiro = No discernable element, just a scribble
Kent Shinji/Shinji Kujaku = You'll have to guess on that one, but I'll drop one clue... it's possible for him to naturally be born in "The Incredible World of DiC" and a few other localizations, but impossible in all of the others, including Viz and the original Japanese version, where instead, he is a hybridized clone.

Edit: The Makaiju Aliens were not a source of inspiration

I imagine his mother would have to be Zoicite then, or Fisheye yes? Did I win?

Sub: no, his dead fried corpse just donates half of the material

In Sub and Uncut, He'll take the name "Malachite", but in the TV (DiC/DHX) dub, he'll use "Kent Summers" Instead.

Ladies and gentlemen, Carrie Talgia (or Carrie De Milo for the DiC/DHX Dub)
There are some true hints as to who's character design she was taken from, and one false hint.

It's not everyday when your wish gets (partially) granted, with setteidreams' updated scans on Sailor Moon settei, and there were new ones in that update, I couldn't help but redraw a certain one (and give some shading to Kurenai as well). well after all was said and done, that left her face to redraw, which was not in the update, the closest source I had was that low quality picture of the second Japanese Blu-Ray booklet, so I went "screw it" and redrew it based on what I could interpret, and I am serious, if her face looks close to what I wound up redrawing, I'll be somewhat glad and yet disappointed (so close and yet so far).

If her colors need to be fixed, tell me, because I am not confident in the highlights.
