More questions I have after re-watching these films than answers. I've seen this movie several times in the past. I'm still left with questions though.

#1. Sailor Starlights Not included in Ending: One of the few things the 90s anime was superior in this sense is wrapping up the Starlights story and giving them closure (along with Princess Kakyuu). Unfortunately, Cosmos would not deviate from the manga series in this sense to provide an appropriate ending. Since I happen to be a fan of them, personally. The original anime was far superior on many levels with more time & character development and for the storyline to flesh out more evenly.

*Side Notes*: However, yes I know, this not something new I'm adding but just my thoughts & views independently is all. Even though I adore Ms. Naoko Takeuchi for this series, she is way too strict with what can be displayed and allowed and leaves very little room for creative expression of her work in an animated format.

Sailor Cosmos: Where do I begin? She's still an enigma of a character overall in the series. My biggest question is that does Mamoru still exist in the same timeline as she does? Or does and the other Sailor Guardians don't exist? I had always wondered this. Since this is something we do not get to see. Almost like Madoka Magica fighting alone for an eternity. I'm curious on thoughts on this one. There's so many more questions I have about Sailor Cosmos but her character's portrayal is minimal at best within both the manga and anime.

Sailor Galaxia's Death: Does she just die or is she re-born as the rest? I honestly feel she was such an evil character. In my opinion, she should have just been killed off instead of showing her grace towards the end.

Wedding Scene: Was the light that traveled to her chest was in fact Chibiusa or another daughter entirely? I'm pretty sure it is but it can lead to the question. Since even though the side story of Parallel Sailor Moon is an alternate universe kind-of story. Begs to wonder on that question of existence.

If Dream and Stars Arc were a series in Crystal instead of a Movie it would have incorporated more of the ideas that Naoko and Igarashi did for the anime that got scrapped like in Nelke, the only thing that we had is the planned Eternal Outfits for Sailor Stars.

The anime was superior with every character development, period. Not just about the Starlights, but every side character had its moment to shine.

I don't think that's true, generally speaking. It definitely was for the Crystermos adaptation, but she allowed different takes on the story with the Seramyu and PGSM.

My take is that he did exist but he died in the war against Chaos, as everyone else. We see him leading the army against Chaos' monsters, and according to Cosmos herself, she is the only one left. So, yeah, Usagi married Mamoru, she still became NQS, she has a daughter (who grow up to her teen self to talk to Pegasus travelling back in time) and then they all die.

I think It's Chibiusa. It's not like different timelines are created, but it's the same timeline rewriting itself.

We see King Endymion, but no sign of the other guardians... Are they already dead, just like Chibiusa?

In any case, it would be nice if a new series came out with the future and Sailor Cosmos / Sailor Chaos. Because seeing the scenes, the inhabitants fought, I like this idea of unity. We must support the queen and the king.

i agree with these and also thought the end ran long there was a point where i just wanted sailor galaxia to shut up and then sailor cosmos also talked forever
also the first time i watched it I thought Usagi and mamoru didn’t get married and the second time i wighted through all the credits and watched there wedding and i think there wedding was way to inportant to be an end credit sene:usagi:

The original plan in the anime and manga was obviously to seal off Galaxia as Sailor Chaos in the Cauldron.
From what I see, Igarashi, Osabu, and Takeuchi were already on the same page in that plot but TOEI decided to change their minds when the anime Stars was already airing and they had even hired the seiyuus for the cast.

Any official evidence of this? Now I'm intrigued.
I changed it to "what I see", since I don't have evidence of it, I think it is obvious that Igarashi, Takeuchi, and Osabu wants the plot(s) of the anime and manga where Galaxia is sealed in the cauldron since the Seiyuu was decided prior to the finalization of the anime plot and also because the finalization of the anime plot was delayed after the anime was already airing, I think had the plot been finalized prior to airing Sailor Stars, Sailor Stars would not have been a rushed mess, later on Takeuchi decided to kill off the Starlights and Humanize Galaxia that is why the plot of the manga was changed from what she was initially planning.

I wish the Starlights were never killed off, to be honest. They were such an imperative part to the storyline & I personally enjoy them as characters. Sailor Stars had the better idea in my overall opinion.

That is why I prefer if Crystal is more like Nelke incorporating stuff that were discarded back in the day like in S1 of Crystal than the manga.

I think not changing her plans or at least taking time to write the manga would have helped the quality of the plot of the Stars manga.
