This is for people who are not aware of what versions of 美少女戦士セーラームーン Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn have the title Pretty Guardian Sailormoon.
Pretty Guardian Sailormoon (or Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon*) is the English title of the live-action version and the new version of the manga that Kodansha is releasing. The live-action version and the new version of the manga both have the Japanese-character title 美少女戦士セーラームーン Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn (meaning Beautiful Girl Soldier Sailor Moon). Notice that Pretty is not supposed to be a literal translation of 美少女 Bishōjo. Regardless of what the kanji mean, Pretty Guardian Sailormoon is the English title of the live-action version and the new version of the manga.
Many people now render the Japanese word 戦士, when it refers to Sailor Moon and the sailor-suited soldiers in the live-action version, as guardian because Pretty Guardian is part of the English title. 戦士 senshi does not actually mean guardian, though. A correlation has been made between the Guardian in the English title Pretty Guardian Sailormoon and the 戦士 in the Japanese title 美少女戦士セーラームーン. However, since guardian is not an accurate translation of 戦士, the correlation does not mean that the two words are directly linked such that the English title has caused the consideration of the real meaning of 戦士 in the Japanese title and elsewhere to be forgone so that guardian is the accurate (or "more appropriate") English rendition of 戦士. Since guardian is not even an accurate translation of 戦士 in the first place, it does not necessarily follow that guardian is the accurate (or "more appropriate") English rendition of 戦士.
