A reboot of Wedding Peach would actually be a good idea if it was darker and more serious.

This reminds me of Sailor Moon's original uniform.

Interesting ideas, I like the metallic shoulderguards on the sailor uniform, that would have been interesting to see.

I found something very interesting and that is Wedding Peach getting a new series called Ai Tenshi Seiki Wedding Apple which is a visual web novel instead of a manga or anime. Wedding Apple is supposed to be a modern version of Wedding Peach and that it would be completely different from the original too.

Hmm not sure if I'm feeling the designs and they have a few older love angels one is 33, hmm I might give it a chance

Yeah the only thing I like about Wedding Apple is that there are two Love Angels who are adults instead of teenagers which is amazing. I agree that the Wedding Apple designs are not as unique as the Wedding Peach designs. If Wedding Apple does well, then it could get an anime and manga series.

Yeah it's true that Wedding Apple looks more like a Shounen and Seinen series rather than a Shoujo and Josei series like Wedding Peach.

There's long been a sorta "deadline" for Japanese women to get married before 30, & if they've reached that age but are still single, the "siren" (read "anxiety") will be turned on (I guess that "deadline" has now been postponed to around 35, if not even 40, tho?), so the character settings of Wedding Apple might be done in light of such "deadline." lol

I didn't know that and I'm guessing the creators of Wedding Apple added the two adult characters so that the people who are in those age groups could have characters that they can relate to when they are playing the story.

That's definitely a consideration by them - many of those watching Wedding Peach back then are now 30-somethings.

Yeah but everyvody looks 5. The artwork looks very professional but also so moe that I cannot buy these are teens. More like elementary.

Yeah the 3 teen characters do look very young while the 2 adult characters look like their actual ages. I'm guessing that the creators want Wedding Apple to have a more modern design and to look different from Wedding Peach too.

The older ones look 13 at best 15. Being done by fans I'm disappointed there is no respect to the beauty and grace of the original. The modern design excuse is not valid, not every modern design is as moe. Look at My Live as Villainess - they are moe but look significantly more mature than that.
