Sailor Moon Art Director motifs

Whoever at Mukuo Studio did the Dark Kingdom's conversation background obviously had the intention of it being used for a long while.

Here's what I managed to stitch together so far.

Toei really could give us some cool merch with those artistic backgrounds. idk shower curtain?

as I comb through the Dark Kingdom conversation in later episodes, I think there may be at least two versions of the same BG, as while I can match the position, I can't match the exact shapes.

One particular position in the stitched BG

Image from close to the end of the series, which may correspond to the same position.

Comparing the two images, the positioning somewhat matches, but the shapes don't match eachother.
The latter image overlaid at 50% opacity on top of the former.

Here's the pieces of images compiled into two separate images for the two versions of the background.

Version A (used from as early as episode 2 until Episode 31)

Version B (Used from Episode 33 through the rest of the season.)

They're not the complete backgrounds, as you can see, all white spaces are where characters have been erased out to make sure they connected.

You might have just figured out the question that some dubbers used to justify changing him into a woman in some various dubs.

That's because even Ando's art has soul.
I am not a fan of the style but there is a still a huge gap between the emotion and fun in an Ando moment and the forced emotion in Crystal.

I think these are from Miho Shimogasa. Or at least the first one. Their bodies match how she drew them in her last episode. Are the other 2 somebody else's. [or even the first one]

They had their chance in Cosmos but it had to be a 1 on 1 manga adaptation. It would have been cool if Heavy Metal Papillon had a resurreccion and started summoning an army of undead for the Quartet to kick butt.

Like I know everyone praised Hawk's Eye 'development' and death scene in Eternal but did everyone forget his heroic death scene in the 90s anime?!

The very 1st MOTD of new villain characters always looks the most awesome/formidable, but those afterwards are less spectacular, if not even like a joke - this doesn't happen only in Sailor Moon, but many other anime & tokusatsu over the decades too. lol

I absolutely love how in late SuperS and Stars, Tamegai gave this nice parting bump on Rei's head.
It's something unique that only Tamegai did.

Also remember when Tadano tried to copy this piece of art and failed majestically?

Reminds me a lot of the same bump that Araki would do on Saori.

As much as Saintia Sho's anime and character design was garbage, I was surprised that they didn't screw the bump on this illustration

By using the ball to save Usagi, the remainder of the lives of the Amazon Trio fade away.

Notice how each of the Inners has a different body language.
Also color error on Chibi Moon's boots.
