Maker is the most tame, looks like it was done by Tamegai.








Tamegai draws Maker the best by giving her a stronger build (well, she is supposed to be super tall!)

Fighter is done by Shimogasa and has some really cool looking shots!















Healer is probably the best and the most stylish.
However, I have no idea who animated her portion, it doesn't look like any of the regular animators to me...









Any ideas?
Tamegai seemingly handles the remainder of the sequence however.

Not a big fan of the 1st henshin of the Starlights but they do get bonus points for trying something new and stylish with their limited budget ;)

Fighter comes first place - gorgeous shots by Shimogasa!











Healer comes second place and again I can't really put the finger on who did her... It kinda looks like Shimogasa's anatomy?











And dead last is Maker... it's just not good.
Shigetaka Kiyoyama was the weakest animator of Stars....

What do you mean?
She has the biggest forehead of the entire Sailor Moon universe's population, if that isn't lore then what is? :P

Staying on the topic of the Starlights, only the 1st version of the Serious Laser is worth mentioning - the other 2 being visually and choreography-wise very underwhelming (Also, we don't talk about the cheap toy version they display for a couple of episodes).

I really like the art here!
I guess it's by Tamegai but the opening portion doesn't look like him...







This whole sequence is genius! The slow build-up as she is gathering energy with her upper body stretching! ::toast:












The later half of the sequence is definitely by Tamegai; the shape of the face, the vine-y strand of hair, the arms and legs etc.
