The Sparkling Wide Pressure might be the most underrated stock of the whole franchise.

Analyzing the art, it seems to be mostly Hasegawa handling the animation and major parts of it (looking back, Hasegawa ended up working on a LOT of stocks post Classic!) and Tadano handling the main portions.

A pity we do not have an HD scan of the whole sequence...

We start with Hasegawa:

We switch to Tadano for the main shot of Makoto:

Back to Hasegawa:

Hasegawa + seemingly face correction by Tadano:

Pure Hasegawa:

Back to Tadano:

Looks like in-betweeners:

Hasegawa + perhaps minor corrections by Tadano, we do recognize Hasegawa's touch on the thighs and skirt.

Again cut to Tadano for the main shots:

Hasegawa?

Hasegawa with his peculiar shading style on the cheeks that becomes prominent by S:

Tadano handles most of the remainder of the attack.
By the looks of the shoulder pads, it's possible these 2 shots are Ando originals corrected by Tadano:

An Ando shot of all places!

KAMEHAMEHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nakamura?

Damn! Remember when the Tadano style was actually beautiful?

Back to Hasegawa:

Switch to Ando:

The animation is so good!
The way her chest moves:

The movement of her hands, the tempo is so good that it's mesmerizing!

You can feel all the power of the energy she is generating as her hands are moving in the back:

Just amazing work!

Looking at it, Ando seems fine? Not the series' best art director, but what we get from him looks consistent. Is there a reason he's so hated?
Personally I don't hate Ando, but his style gets really messy from S onwards. In the first two seasons, while it still stood out, it was unique and looked good on its own (Chibiusa's debut episode is a good example of that I feel), but later his style is just... ugly. It looks as if he didn't want to draw this art, but had to, so he went for the bare minimum.

Ami's Shine Aqua Illusion because why not?
Looks like a full Tadano to me, can someone spot some other animators here?

This stock has SO MANY frames!!!

Those legs!

With Tadano, there's always simplicity but with sensuality

So smooth ~
This is my favourite stock footage of the inners. So ethereal, so magical.

It's not pretty as a real time attack, but look at this:

The weight of the water. You can feel it.

The Shine Aqua Illusion, in real time, in the R movie is so good!
They made her literally bend water, twirling it around her as if it was a simple ribbon to make a spear whirlpool of water!
Wish they had shown more diversity in their attacks.

The SuperS movie did such a disservice to Mercury, she uses the Shine Aqua 2 times but it's in a simple real-time manner...
The other Inners got a pseudo real-time upgraded version of their weaker attacks but not Mercury...
Yes, she did get an exclusive Henshin, Speech and Attack with her special that came with the movie but still! :P

Something cool with the SuperS movie's sequence is that it shows us that all of the gorgeous choreography is not just for show and it's actually part of the execution of the attack.

I love how even the 'wind in the hair' is part of the attack!

Speaking of the S movie, this sequence is forever a masterpiece!
The 360 camera move, the difference of height between the girls, the light rays of the Silver Crystal being obstructed by each girl's head as we pass by them, Usagi slowly turning within the Sailor Circle...

We have here a similar situation to the finale of Dream/Eternal however the girls have been beaten to a pulp, all hope has seemingly been lost and it's a last ditch attempt to try to save the Earth. And it's within this new found resolve that all the girls stand together and enter in communion, dying their uniforms into pure white, them all fighting as one and not simply giving a power boost to Sailor Moon.
Even after that it's not a straight victory as we have a DBZ beam struggle.

The S movie might be the weakest out of the OG 3 on several aspects mainly because the first and second parts seems so disjointed however once the Outers appear in front of Kaguya, it's top tier Sailor Moon content!
Such a great finale!

The greatest fault of the 90s anime is to not have aged Chibi-Usa up because she looks fantastic slightly older!
I also really like this shot, reminds me a lot of depictions of Eastern Asian deities shown in paintings.
