Well, the Eternal henshins are copied from Crystal 3's Henshin.
The Crystal 3 Henshins are the 2D adaptation of the 3D versions of Crystal 1-2.
The 3D Crystal 1-2 versions are copied/based after the 90s henshins.

Everything is connected! :P

I actually like that art style better - seems the same animator is handling the Moon attack + Starlights' attacks too.
It's not simpler but rougher looking, very old-school shounen anime like.
Personally I wouldn't have been against this art style as the main one instead of for example the one used on the Inners' henshin or UraNep's attacks.

There's some very good stuff but also some meh stuff going on in this trailer. The scene with Chibichibi in the living room looks bland (why are they all standing so distant? reminds me of official art where each character is individually drawn to sell more merch).

I also almost never like scenes showing the characters from the side. The characters always have weird proportions and look twodimensional. Usagi and Kakyuu here are OK but also not convincing. It‘s like they are not even in the same room.

Yeah same for me. It’s very dynamic and totally fits for action scenes. It’s somewhat a luck that Tadano’s designs are quite bland, it allows animator to have some creativity !

I agree about the side profiles being too ‘soft’ and its something I always mention. I’m also seeing too many of the ‘static shoujo sparkle’ scenes. You know, the ones they -always- use during romance scenes where we get Usagi’s hair chopping around at 3 frames per second and some cheesy sound effects. I’d much rather them too artistic static shots like in the 90’s over that. Eternal had so many, it was a joke.

This is surprisingly close and well done! :shocked:
Now I kinda wished they had used this shot on Usagi rather than Chib's as the ultimate final call back to the OG Anime.
But seems all the henshins are covered? Be it Prism, Crystal (the scene where her wings appear looks more when she blows a kiss in Crystal Power rather than during the Cosmic Power), Cosmic and Moon Eternal.

As for the attacks - the Princess Halation was already reused for the solo Gorgeous Meditation, the S attacks are already done, the Crystal Power Kiss was already referenced in Moon's final attack in Eternal via the spinning staff, the Therapy Kiss is in the movie... the only one missing is the Moon Escalation lol :P

What the....I wasn't expecting this...I... And I like it. They about to go in full force.. Chibi Chibi's henshin reminds me of the short but extremely fluid Sailor Saturn transformation from Eternal, they are messing with those camera angles too up in there it looks like.... I see you... So many transformations, so little time. So far Cosmos has been serving with the majority they have shown so far.

Wait guys.. there’s a new trailer/Ad that plays on Japanese YouTube for the 3 lights before the old anime ( that Toei uploads on Yotube everyday.. ) has no one caught this?
