Best.. Crystal henshin so far for me? Unlike like the original transformations which are rather boring, these ones actually communicate to us that they are in fact, performers. A sort of narrative within the transformation. It’s an original idea that’s been sorely lacking up until now.
Plus, it’s very compact, short and sweet.

I knew this new sequence remembered me something but I was not able to say what. Well I hope I could say Starlights would get a better ending than poor Mami but…

Yeah, especially Yaten's is very cool. I love the direction, the fact how fast yet expressive it is. Also bonus points for uniqueness. Today is overall a great day from a fan : several very beautiful and well directed shots, followed by a very cool sounding song that stucks in your head and finally - a great lookig and unique henshin. Sure, I don't care for the Starlights that much, but it looks pretty nice. Kind of dethroned the Reinako shot for me.

I actually wouldn’t mind, as long as it was animated/directed well and didn’t look like a flash video like this.

I like the teaser PV - it's cute!
This SD style is regularly used for anime collabs, so it's nice to see some original Senshi in this very style.
Personally, while I don't think Sailor Moon can work the same way as Precure with 'new' Senshis such as a Sailor Thalassa, Sailor Rhea etc... it would have been a great idea to have had 'Sailor Idols' to promote the reboot for the start, serving as mascots of the Crystermos adaptation.
For the Starlights... eh... it's something!
I like the concept and animation-wise it's not done half-assedly but I find the execution very flawed.
The best one is Fighter, we see everything happening very nicely.
Maker flies away TOO FAR from the camera and becomes nearly just a stick figure by the end.
Healer has a lot of sass but there's no intensity when she lands, it's like she is caught in mid-air before posing.
They won't be having speeches
But there's finally some originality! Yeah!

I have no idea what to make of the tap-dancing Starlights ahahaha. Very left-field in some ways, but also very appropriate in other ways. I think I like it.

I thought it strange that every other Senshi gets the back background transformation call and the Starlights get something completely different.
Perhaps? I don't know.
The Starlights transform only 1 time I think? Perhaps that's the reason that they gave them quick, non-typical transformations.
As for the black background, it's probably used to differentiate for Senshis who use their Sailor Crystal to transform while the Starlights use items.

I love love love the new transformation sequences of my favorite non binary Sailor Trans (or actually Trav in the manga) haha

UDPATE: My friend who got traumatized by Eternal and was ignoring the Sailor Moon content I tried to show him is now into these Cosmos previews and is even liking them on instagram. That's what care on your project gets you. Thank you Naoko for letting the anime staff have more freedom, thank you Toei for putting more money
