no seriously I’m so happy they stopped to copy paste everything unnew since Season 3 that I’m overjoyed

well, i do think „Crisis make up“, and „World Shaking“ are really improved in the Crystal remake . But you’re right 80% was not the fall (if not more)

I don't like the song. I found Chainon more like a Sailor Moon song than this one, honestly. Cosmos deserved a better song, a sera myu atmospheric song would've been great. A new version of the 1993 Sailor War, for example. This new song is....bland, silly and not Sailor Moon. It sounds more like a random shoujo series.

As for the wings. Actually I don't care. I think in the manga, once Usagi lost them she made them appear at will, to protect herself against Chaos (then in the next panel they disappear again) and to be aesthetically pretty in some panels. So, if Tomoya has decided to keep them, it's fine to me.

I don't know what to think about the tap dance. I like it..... but I'd have preferred they've invested the budget on other stiff/ugly scenes I already saw in the past trailers/teasers/promos.

well you will always have people who don’t like it but I quite honestly for the moment read 95% of positive around. Even Lady P. here seems to like it… and honnestly the starlight transformations were so ugly in the stars season that I don’t take anyone seriously defending them over these new ones.

I would agree on World Shaking, but it has some weird lineart/shadowing issues that stop me from thinking it was an upgrade.
It's a really nice sequence, but I think it's a bit... Unfinished in comparison to Mercury Aqua Rhapsody and Mars Flame Sniper?

Unpopular opinion - I have always loved Crystal OST and never had a problem with it. Except for Eternal - it just wasn't there, I do not remember tracks from it the way I still remember ques from s1-3. So far, though, Cosmos sounds perfectly fine for me.

The ONLY transformation cue from Crystal that stuck with me was the "Crisis Make Up" one. I love it.
The Moon Crisis (Moon/Chibimoon) one is hot garbage though.

They act like the 90's starlight's transformation sequence was a visual masterpiece but let's be honest, people mostly remember it because of its amazing music. The sequence itself very basic and bland.

Normally I would not care about it either but Galaxia and Evil mamoru remarks imply that Moon loosing then it is a big deal. Also the Inners/Outer being able to hurt her so much shows that the Eternal upgrade is not that pointless lol

Because really I do love the Star Seasons (it’s one of my favorite after S) but still can identity a lot of background mess/ drama during production, the one for instance giving two transformation sequences to the startlights without any plot explanations (or I never understood it lol; what never happened before in the series) with the second version coming nearly at the end of the season and even missing to show us one time the full one of maker… and I do pass about the attack sequences also done 3 times for two of them (fighter and maker) and 2 for healer.
It always sounds to me that Japanese were so unhappy with the first ones that they have to redone them last seconds …

I liked their second transformations. The Cosmos transformations look fine aside from the very awkward dance moves.

My opinion? They gave them different sequences simply because they were the new lead writer's pets(especially Seiya/Fighter) and he wanted a special treatment for them.

I know people have their opinions, but as an artist and avid animation fan, saying World Shaking wasn’t an upgrade is WILD… but to each their own.

I think they completley redid the transformations for the Starlights because it's pretty clear that there's not a lot of nostalgia riding on them considering a few Japanese fans were apparently asking on Twitter who they were when they were first revealed (unless they were being sarcastic, but I think it's safe to say that the Starlights don't have nearly as many fans as some of the other senshi).
