It’s a legit question from me and I do like Stars season but for some other reasons… whatever who worship the starlights ?? Because I never like them ? I always found them so ugly and so low cost version of Outers ::tuxspeedmask:

About Stars... What was Ami doing against Sailor Gamer?
She was powering up and then... Maker attacked Gamer and blew up whatever she was planning to do.
I feel like they were planning an update for the inners(the episode about Rei's cousin too felt like an upgrade moment) but something happened and the plans felt short. Or maybe they simply ran on of money for the new footage because they used all the budget for the Starlights lol

Sorry but I don't like the Starlights' transformations. I really dislike the dancing steps at the beginning... too much "DO RE MI" for me, but I could get used to it... it's just that the costume change scene is just so... so un-sailormoon-ish? I mean, it's just a change of clothes with a fancy light. No shiny bodies, no tiara appearing.. no nothing. And it's weird beause all the new transformations in the movie, like Kakyuu's or Chibi Chibi's , even if a bit different from the previous ones, they have all that, but Starlights don't... maybe they'll get a second one? but probably not.

I don't like Starlights anyway, so I prefer them making animations for Outer Senshi (I know they won't) than several transformations for the alien trio.

She was gonna upgrade but Maker's forehead was so big that it acted as a reflector and blew her spotlight moment into oblivion.

But more seriously, it's highly likely she was gonna upgrade to either a new attack or form. In 188, Minako theorizes that Chibs might have come to give them (aka the 4 Inners) her power just like in the episode prior, she upgraded Moon.
It seems the staff was flirting with the idea of upgrading the Inners or not and ultimately decided not to, preferring to use their budget for the upgraded Henshin and Attacks stocks of the Starlights.

From the looks of it, each Inner would have had an episode to upgrade;
Ami in the Gamer episode,
Minako in her Idol episode,
Makoto during the Crow onslaught episode (she is prominently featured in this one),
Rei during the Nyanko roof attack episode (again, in this one it's Rei who is prominently featured).

Another reason why this idea might have been scrapped may have been because it was deemed obsolete.
Once Kakyuu appears, we've already entered on the finale storyline.
Introducing new attacks at such a later date for characters who wouldn't get to use them much would be rather unnecessary.

PS : let me guess Galaxia was supposed to be Chaos ;)
The 90s anime directors kept the foreshadowing and hints of the prototype backstory of Galaxia, Sailor Cosmos, Heavy Metal Papillon, and the Eternal Outfits of the other Senshi in the 90s anime, why change the plot of the show while it is airing? Seriously? Bandai and TOEI?

Someone on youtube said:
"They shpuld have had them change from guy to girl like in the anime it was more intense."

:x:x:x:x
Lol, more intense? Sorry, but the Cosmos version slays the 90's version in terms of choreography.....Yaten went tf off!

I'm so pissed this is the last "run" though....we should have had stuff like this from the beginning.

They better be brainstorming on my Sailor Chibi Moon sequel. I don't care if they have to make deal with Chaos itself to get it done....I want it.....Neowwwww!

I can feel them (the staff). When I was on my last day at work, I worked twice as much as usual

So far I like the Starlights henshin. I think it is fresh, new and original. Will I change my mind after a few months just like how I first seeing Jupiter Coconut Cyclone (so excited) for the first time and then seeing its flaws after a few months. Probably. ^_^'

At least it's guaranteed the music will be better in Cosmos. Eternal's music is so subdued.

I think it might be just her one time kill spell :ami: did in her very own SuperS OVA.

I love their transformations, lmao. At first, I was caught off guard by it because it was sooo unexpected but after the initial shock wore off and I rewatched it a few times, I can't stop from laughing at it in the best way possible. It's soo extra and random to me, that it actually makes complete sense, lol. Like ofcourse, out of all the senshi introduced throughout the series, THEY would be the ones to transform like that. And the tapping sounds send me! It's soo funny! Definitely entertained every time I watch it!

But to echo a few others. It's new and fresh and I'd personally rather that then a poor rehash of something already done 30 years ago. Even if it dont make sense to many, it's still hilarious and puts a smile on my face every time I watch it.

And I personally don't feel it's that out of place for them not to transform the same way as everyone else. Their senshi from a completely different solar system than us, so why not ‍

Yep, it's definitely in character for them. When I saw it at first I was like....what in the sideshow Bob is going on here...but that's was just cause it was unexpected but it looks fluid and fits them quite nicely. Taiki looks nice too. I honestly think they should have waited to show them though. It would have been a nice surprise.

Man it would be equally nice if they Inners surprised us with something a little new in the their transformations.... Yes, Minako walking PGSM style across the screen like an advertisement for a shampoo commercial is as extra as they can be.
