I actually like it so far. I think it's cute well minus Mamoru dying abruptly..lol..however, I'm not as strict when it come to the art/animation (though the part where the shots of the cemetery and everything at Galaxia cathedral looks kinda bad).

So far I like what I am seeing with the only issue being the one we all knew from the beginning...pacing is swift. Still nice to see them...

No subtitles so if you need the words to go along and haven't read the manga then...might have an issue with the video. I'll edit this with Part II once it finishes rendering. I split them cause of the size being 4 gigs. Hopefully it works right.

Here is Part 1
Cosmos 1
Do you have the second part please?

How I find this ironic given how you kept calling everyone in this forum and fandom stupid here not only once but multiple times before. And here you are again going back here acting like you are Mother Teresa.
Why don't you go cry about it some more then and make the same tired "WHY DON'T YOU WORSHIP SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL?!" .gifs. :P

I'm sorry but did anyone else laugh when Uranus slapped Venus cause Mercury and Jupiter died..lol I know.. I know.. it's a part of the scene but it made me laugh.... ha ha ha.

Still waiting on Part II to finish the upload since it's about 2 gigs as well but I'll update the other post with Part II added.

Could you please share the soundtrack if possible?
I wish I could. If I get a chance before someone else finds/links it I'll try.

kinda meh, better than eternal but somehow i feel they were more offmodel here than the previous movie?
anyways, i actually dislike a lot chiaki kon direction, this new director did a better job with the action and the movie as a whole

Lol I didn't laugh but it's one of those things that didn't feel like it amounted to anything. Everyone was panicked, so I'm not sure why Venus in particular was slapped, I guess because she was more panicked than the others? It felt melodramatic ahahah but that is something that has happened many times in Crystal... the cheesy melodrama.

Isn't Setsuna taller than Haruka? I thought I remember seeing a chart or something....Maybe that was someone else but they are the same height in a scene in Cosmos and it made think back and wonder cause I thought Setsuna was taller than Haruka. Not by much but the difference was a little noticable....Hmm

It depends on the art and version you are watching. In the 90's ( according to the official settei height comparison ) Haruka is taller tan Pluto but then you have arts and scenes where Pluto is a bit taller.

Just finished part 1 and the beginning of part 2 hot me hard. Also how come all the main characters look off model more than on model yet mama Ikuko looks drop dead gorgeous all the time?

That's a meme. :yoshi:

Hasn't resurfaced for 2 or 3 years now but it was uber popular back in most of those :usagi: Facebook groups.

Just finished the whole thing. I went into this not thinking "awww, this is the end," but "FINALLY, this is the end!" and I still got a little choked up by the last frame. I feel like I need to watch it again (with subs this time haha) to fully process how I feel about them, but I do think they were better than Eternal. It's crazy to think that it's been almost 12 years since this reboot was first announced, and almost 10 years since Crystal premiered. It's been a bumpy, bittersweet ride to say the least.

Finished part 1:

Pretty meh overall but the director did what he could with the runtime and resources he was given. I think it's better director than Chiaki Kon anyway. You can't do much better if you have to adapt the whole manga scene by scene in just 80 minutes. Not his problem. The experience has also been enjoyed less since I had already seen all the leaks, all the official pictures from the visual book, etc. No surprises at all.

- Pacing is awful. Specially in the concert/starlights presentation/ chibiusa goodbye.
- First 20 minutes too much off model and bad drawn characters. Specially the airport scene.
- Action is still bad. The animamates are nice.
- Last 20 minutes it's the best animated part. You can see the difference in their design and drawn details. Much more detailed and they even have a different art line.
- Abuse of " flashbacks " ( past scenes seen minutes ago ) as Chiaki Kon did. It's BAD. The only good one is the Rubeous one since it's reanimated and we can see how good would have looked that scene with a different character design. But using scenes from Eternal and then again using scenes from the same movie it's just lazy. It's in these details you can see the amount of work a project has.
- Need to listen the soundtrack alone.

I still think it's better than Eternal tough.

Finished watching both movies back to back on YouTube (what a time to be alive lol).

I’m sorry but this is art wise worst than Eternal movies, even the second one. Lot of uninspired frames, simplistic faces and weird eyes. Art style is absolutely inconsistent in the second movie, to the point it looks a lot like OG Stars final episodes where it was like a different show.

Music is a lot better than Eternal though, and background art is way better. But God the storyboard is sometimes so uninspired… Lethe and Mnemosyne part looks like it’s done by this Precure animation director that makes ugly face but is supposedly a veteran.

The movies are good adaptations of the source material. Most of the issues come from the manga, so it's hard to fault the movies for them. Some of the scenes are an improvement over the manga, such as Sailor Moon dodging Galaxia's attacks. A TV series likely would have been better, but they did what they could, and we got some cool fight scenes and definitely the best Crystal OST out of it.

All in all, it's kinda euphoric to see this end. I got into Sailor Moon during Crystal's first season, and it's been a messy ride. There's been some good, like the third season, but it hasn't been the best managed franchise. Here's to hoping Toei learns from this for whatever SM project is next.

Here is Part II.

Not sure if it's done processing yet fully but I've uploaded it

Honnestly I don’t think it’s a good idea to post a public link of illegal copyright content directly on the forum unless you want TOEI to close down this website or even worst sue you… I’ll be more careful if I were you or at least share your link (a new one) only with private message… just my opinion of course.

Looking at Part 1's credits through that link and lol, they actually credited PNP under Supervision so it's both Takeuchi (Chief Supervisor) and her company listed here now.

This didn't happen with Eternal so it's pretty funny.
