I am pointing out that a PH dub of Crysetermos would not work in the PH due to certain issues.

Philippine anime dub is generally good. Last dub was on Hero TV and I doubt any T.V. network would use such crude exclusive slang language just for the LGBT community in my country.

The Senshi would at least be speaking Taglish...that is the issue so it might not look good.

I came to this thread late (as usual) so maybe I am out of context but I thought the Philippines was rather chill about LGBTQ type things?

This reboot has been such a disaster in the way its been handled. Unfortunately, most reboots are never as superior to its original content I feel. I feel it has lost that certain "magic" that the original series has had. I do prefer Rei's personality more from the original anime, even if it did veer away from her manga counterpart. It made her so much more interesting as a character, love the hilarious & incredibly funny feuding between her & Usagi is iconic to me and just how shows close they truly are. That element has always warmed my heart.

Most people, myself included, are gunning for 90's Rei in a future adaptation. While I do appreciate her Crystal identity, she's doesn't really stand out. The only Inner Senshi that stands out is Venus, and that is not a lot even then.

I don't know how much "involvement" Naoko had with PGSM but I do hope a future instalment is closer to that. Senshi destroying monster on their own, fighting back and using their environment, episodes where it's just two Senshi...etc. Impo, PGSM Rei is the best version of her and that's moreso because we get introduced to her father and see her struggles etc.

Also the part where Minako had the disease was interesting and seemed really unique for Sailor Moon to have a Senshi go through that and Rei breaking down in tears.

I mainly came back to see if the show had been dubbed yet. I guess they are waiting till this summer or something....idk.

I think the writer of PGSM brought Chibiusa to the show as Sailor Luna and some of the traits and characteristics of Uranus and Neptune went to Mars and Venus, respectively.

It has it's issues but generally, like you said, is chill. Kasumigenx is just wanting a more gayer dub that would turn off the general public. That's like watching a Team 4 Stars dub an official anime movie in theaters and TOEI or Naoko would never want that.

There was this bar brawl (straight guys versus trans) caused by a famous trans actor a while back. He/she wanted to see the guy's dick but he refused. He/she didn't take rejection well and obviously high on something. The actor needed to be subdued by several police men.

Normally he/she would be cancelled in the west. Everyone in the country was just laughing the whole incident. The trans actor still has a career and even had this commercial ad in Facebook selling expensive bags like the whole incident never happened.

I mainly came back to see if the show had been dubbed yet. I guess they are waiting till this summer or something....idk.

I'm wondering myself it it will be dubbed in my local language cause the Eternal films weren't dubbed at all. DOTA got a local dub but that's because it's ultra popular and still significant.

Haruka was dubbed with Masculine vocubalary in tagalog back in the day in ABC 5 as I remember.

@Memelord_Yoshi If Sailor Moon Crystal, Eternal, and Cosmos gets dubbed in Tagalog the Senshi would speak Taglish and Gay Lingo while Mamoru would speak street language.

Feminine Tagalog and Taglish are considered Gay sounding when used by males in some circles based on what I have observed since I actually live here.

In the old Tagalog dub, Haruka was made to be butch sound FYI.
