Are projects in Spain done without a dubbing diretor often? I know Eternal had the woman who voiced Usagi in Classic as director, and she voiced Ami's mother in the movie.
I think so, but I couldn't say if they are done without a director all the time. And yes, Usagi's voice acress of Usagi from the 1st season in the 90s was the director of Eternal.
It seems that attacks and transformations in English was an order that came from Japan AFTER the movies were actually dubbed, so they had to re-dub some scenes to fit the new "rules". That's why latin-American Sailor Galaxia voice actress from the 90s is not in the movie, she recorded her voice for Cosmos but she died before they had to re-dub the attacks and transformations.
It was not censored. In the manga the girls turn into dust too. Well, yes... yes!!!! The bed scene................... Mamoru wears boxers and Usagi a sexy nightgown. I won't ever forgive Tomoya.

I remember Usagi having a vivid nightmare of Mamoru's face melting like acid or basic liquid was thrown at him, waking up crying and drenched with sweat. .

Was Galaxia's scene of her potentially getting raped?? She was being strangled though. It was hard to tell. I wish we got a scene with the Seiya/Sailor Starlights & Usagi at the end. Would have been nice to see, like in Sailor Stars.
Can‘t find it online but I kinda like the headquarters music that is playing in Cosmos…not sure if they used it throughout the reboot. The theme is quite unusual for the OST and interesting.
The good thing is that they animate the flashbacks instead of just narrating them. The director made the first encounter between Usagi and Mamoru so SACRED. I cannot hold my goosebumps. He's good at metaphors.
