The more I listen to the Tsuki no Hana the more I love it - it gives me mid 2000s anime op vibes and I love that. I hope the rumors are true and we see Cosmos very very soon. I wish it was series so we could get animated sequence... :(

This Kakyuu is defintely by Yoshiyama - just on how many stocks did she work on? :yay:
Ami looks... weirdly older.
She doesn't really look like herself, yet it's kinda how I would have envisioned Stars to look like.
Seems overall the 1st movie will be more interesting to look at than Eternal's.
I just hope that they are not burning all of their resources on the 1st one and putting what's left of them on the stocks of the 2nd movie.

I was able to see his original post on Instagram. Same illustration, except the text on it included "Anime Netflix" on it. His post description didn't mention any details about it though so I feel it's probably an honest mistake or slip-up rather than a leak. He deleted his post maybe 5 or 10 minutes after and posted the current illustration, minus that text.

I thought more about it afterwards; I don't expect it to be a simultaneous release on Netflix. They would probably want the chance to promote the heck out of it. So if it's even going to be on Netflix, it would probably follow the same schedule as Eternal in which it would hit the platform months after the theatrical release has ended in Japan.

I mean it’s well animated, it’s cute and original but.. just very left field and something I wouldn’t have expected at all. Should’ve saved these cute little surprises for the movies. I’m amazed that all the henshins seem really great this time around.

No.. ‘effing.. Animamates!! Next week will most definitely be Galaxia so like.. there gonna be nothing for them. Unless they tease them all in the run up for part 2.

It’s not what I expected ahah.
BUUUUUUUT at least it’s quite original and the animation is nicely done (though I would have liked better if they used this budget on more pretty outers attacks). Anyway I’m not gonna complain that they think outside the box, and do something different. And the Starlight are already weird so one more touch is okay I guess.
