The main reason I've wanted to see it on Netflix is to get improved subs, as no fansubber ever came through with good quality and accurate ones (as far as I know). The trailer... isn't exactly making me optimistic of that.

Why is Galaxia supposedly just saying "[Is] The future you know is really the future?" and Moon saying "[Because?] That there are things that only I can do". (Words in brackets are my additions as to what's seemingly missing) They're fragmented portions of what they should be saying. I don't know if they ripped the subs from the scenes without additional context or cutting off the rest of the sentence, but it's pretty pathetic for a trailer this short to have broken English...
For us French. I noticed some adaptation/translation errors on the sentence where Usagi says that her friends always watch over her and protect the Earth with her.

In the subtitles you only have the friends part who stayed but no mention of Usagi.
On the other hand, in the French dubbing, you have no errors, you have the Usagi + friends part.

Actually, it made its way to the Italian dub as well. PNP probably imposed this terminology in all dubs.
This is a criticism I find absolutely justified. Naoko has no right to mess with translation choices in languages she doesn't speak. In Japanese it might be normal to use random English all the time, but in most other languages it is absolutely cringe. I don't understand why none of this weird stuff happened during the original redub in English beyond guardian and during the first 3 seasons of Crystal but now that Etermos is on Netflix it suddenly introduced random Japanese and honorifics and stuff... I guess it is PNP, but I don't know how come it was fine for so long to use proper English till now.

Cringe... I'm shocked there is something worse than Usagi's voice in this dub.
Honestly, I don't know which dub are you talking about, if latin-American or Spanish, but I disagree with both options. Both actress are very beloved by fans.

Besides that.

They just updated Netflix Spain webpage with the trailer in castillian Spanish, and they say "warrior of destruction" in English too. I guess it's something that was mandatory by the producer or Naoko, like using -san, -sama.. I can't post the link to the trailer from Spain because it's not in youtube yet, just in Netflix.

in Eternal, "Senshi" was translated to "guardián" (guardian), and the titles were translated too, I wonder if that's gonna change in this movie or it's just this sentence.

The italian trailer is on Tiktok:

The spanish from Spain is already on youtube:

Latin Spanish. Her fans might love her but she sounds like a 60 year old grandma.

Not a problem, neither the Inners or Outers introduce themselves in Cosmos.
That's true. Still, it sounds terrible lol, only the English sub won't be affected

I really wonder how are they going to translate the Sailor Senshi's galactica attacks in Spanish. Maybe they'll keep the word "galactica" like that, or will change it to an adjetive.

Brazilian fans were lucky in that respect. Last December a group of fans fansubbed and released the films and it was pretty good, actually. But I feel for the people who wanted to see it dubbed or hoped to watch it legally with decent subtitles.

I'm not aware of it happening in the english dub, but it happened to Crystal's dub made in Portugal. I believe they only dubbed a handful of episodes (up to the first ones of Season III), and the transformation phrases were being translated the same as their 90s anime portuguese dub counterpart. So "Mercury power, make up" was "Pelo poder sagrado de Mercúrio"... just a few episodes in, Toei vetoed it and ordered them to dub the transformation phrases in english.

The rest of season III wasn't dubbed because they censored Haruka kissing Usagi, caused backlash, and just stopped airing Crystal altogether.

The rest of season III was dubbed, they premiered 6 months later as part of the show's uncut broadcast on a late-night slot.

Sailor Moon Crystal in Portugal (Official / Toei)
Oh, I see. Then this was all a problem caused by the network's confusion on what audience to sell Crystal to.
I do think it's a shame that there was no portuguese dub made for Eternal and, as it appears, neither for Cosmos.
