Good lord nothing makes sense in that Cauldron story, be it in the present or the past.

There are so many plot holes, it’s like the manga is a giant collaborative fan fiction started by the Princessuuu Naoko 30 years ago, that fans continue to write now. She is putting the money in her pocket while fans imagine the missing plot, this is her only true achievement if you ask me :wow:

Breaking news! We now know what the sixth arc of the manga will be:

Your imagination is the message of love!!! NAOKO TAKEUCHI ::love::

We’re talking about people who think that a manga with a childish writing style (where you have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks) is meant for adults and young adults. You can’t expect coherent responses from people who have no real judgement and base their thoughts purely on an emotional connection born out of nostalgia they’re desperately trying to hide and show with pride their love for a SM for adults.

PATHETIC!!!

But you know.............................

Of course Talentless!!!!!!!!!!!! You are meant to give that substance. Osabu says so in an interview. Remember?

Stars stops making sense as soon as Galaxia rips the crystal out of Mamoru, a crystal with power equivalent to the Silver Crystal, because the Golden Crystal has the same power as the Silver Crystal. Written by Naoko Takeuchi in Act 46. Oh yes, the Stars arc connects so well with the previous arcs.

Just as I suspected... it’s your imagination talking because none of that happens in the manga or in Cosmos.
My imagination? The queen must have jumped in to go see Guardian Cosmos, she didn't die in the fight against DK. Eternal Sailor Moon jumped in the cauldron. The silver crystal didn't belong to her, it was originally her mother's. So the mother must have made a deal with GC.

She died already, it is her spirit that talked to the Cauldron Guardian.

But in the Cosmos movie scene, she's not in spirit form; she looks like a flesh and blood being?:? Her spirit form is tiny and looks like a fairy.

I always thought that was about the birth of the Princess, not her death. Gawd, I'm confused lol
Well no. Since Guardian Cosmos said that NS was holding an empty shell (Star Seed) in her hands, and that this one was Princess Serenity (the same shine as Sailor Moon).

It's not about her birth. The semantic choice makes pretty clear that she is holding a lifeless Star Seed.
Hmm, all right. Do you suppose the queen went to the Cauldron twice in order to give birth to the princess and then again to revive her?

I remember people speculating that she must be a virgin birth...since the queen didn't have a husband:?

(that's the confusing part for me)

I dont think that the English would have had been affected , so everything will be fine.
Yeah, Cosmos actually looks polished watching it. Biggest thing is how fast everything happens like I remember.

Don't like Usagi 's voice though. Everyone else sounds pretty much okay.

Like everyone says, it's pacing is just too fast but it looks nice.

Uranus slapping Venus is still funny though... hahahaha.

Biggest flaw of this movie is that it's a movie. This would have been a pretty cool series imo. So much to explore. Tsk..tsk..

Hmm, yes, if it was a series with time to pad it out and this quality, I think that would have been much better.
Compared to Eternal it's very polished and has a better ambience.
I actually really like Usagi's voice, I think she still sounds almost the same 30 years later.

For my part, if Naoko did not put a husband for the queen, and the princess does not speak about it. It is because the Cauldron chose to make the immaculate conception. Chose the queen to carry the child of light of the Cauldron.

Since Chaos tells Sailor Moon that she is the child of the Cauldron (even if it goes for the other guardians), but she is the one who carries the radiant side of the Cauldron not the others.

And as we can see, even though Usa/Mamo have consumed their love (Chibiusa), we see the shine of a star coming to Usagi (Chibiusa). So the Cauldron can make the impossible, possible.

I don't mind the Japanese voice but the English voice sounds strange to me for Usagi. Something about it throws me off but everyone else's voice sounds okay in English. Mamoru's English VA sounds really nice.

I expected Galaxia's American voice to be a tad bit deeper but it's okay as well.

I personally think Cosmos holds up much better and some of the shots of Eternal Sailor Moon look really stunning.

We can't assume Sereinity was a virgin birth just because they never mention a husband. In that case, Endymion must be some kind of miracle because no parents are mentioned, not even king or queen of Earth. Must we suppose then that Earth was not a kingdom but a principality and Endymion was the ruler? What about Michiru and Haruka? are they some kind of miracles? their parents are never mentioned.

I think the cauldron scene is too confusing to give us a certain answer, but we can't assume things because the opposite is not mentioned. At least, I am not going to assume things just because of that. Of course everyone's opinion is as valid as mine, but I just don't think we have enough proof to say that in particular as a certain truth.

None of the parents of ANYONE in the SM are mentioned except for Princess Serenity's mother the queen.:? This mere fact annoys TF out of me lol

I'm wondering if perhaps the star seeds came out of the Cauldron and just turned into all the senshi. We see them pledging their loyalty to the baby Princess when they look very young.
We also see the Queen giving young Pluto the mission of guarding the Door of Time.

And I'm like ".............who the hell raised all these kids?":?

Chronos is mentioned once as Sailor Pluto's father in the manga. But I don't know if that's some sort of allegory or if we are supposed to take that literally.
Whatever.
