So maybe Netflix insists in broadcasting the fixed and polished BR/DVD version.
It is more like Toei want to provide them with that version, while have some extra sells from people outside Japan that are so impatient they might just buy it from Japan. So they might even wait a couple of months after the blu ray release. But there is even worse scenario. Toei might hope to still get showiungs in theaters outside Japan and hold back Netflix release and home media release in Japan.

I’m gonna say what I said in the other thread. Stop being pessimists.

Licensing for ANY and ALL anime films does not happen overnight, the second movie only aired a week ago.

Netflix didn’t announce a worldwide release for Eternal until 3 months after it debuted in Japan, and the worldwide release wasn’t for another two months after the announcement.

At best, the worldwide release won’t be until October/November. If there isn’t an announcement by September, than I would start questioning what’s going on.

This is the Eternal thread, not Cosmos.

To be fair Palla Palla used an overly powered anime only banned trap card named 'Ivy Bind Castle'. ^_^'

I think the problem is you have the same 90s fan.Who bash on Crystal, and the manga. So now we have fans bickering back and forth.I wasn't trying to bash the 90s anime .Flaws are mater of opinion. To me none of them are perfect .Without the manga they would have not abeen 90 s anime.I think all versions of sailor moon are important to the franchise.I think fans need to accept more peoples views, and more understanding to those they do not agree with.
Please. I've read manga fans bashing the 90s anime before Crystal was even an idea.

So, I wouldn't imply 90s anime fans started this bickering.

They really didnt think through some of this dialogue (that again wasnt likely thought through in the manga)
Nehelenia "I will rule the Earth!!!"
Sailor Moon "The Earth is not one to be ruled!" (goes on to rule the Earth)

As much as I enjoy the flashbacks, bb Inners trying to stand up against Nehelenia was funny. As usual they look useless as Serenity is like "bye witch!" and just easily blasts her away.

Helios "we have to find the golden crystal. It could be hidden anywhere. In any dimension"
Moon "mine was in me so Tuxedos is probably in him" (it would in fact be.in.him.)

And with Eternal, the blu ray was released like four months after the second movie. Worst case scenario, we are watching Cosmos BR by Christmas.

They seem to be hypocrites now because Usagi from day one as Cosmos is abusing her powers.

Not only was it better than the original anime, but, given that I would likely not enjoy Cosmos from what I heard (the cats survive at least, but other factors put me off), it feels like the perfect finale to Crystal for me, with that final battle with all the Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask coming together and while it was an extended sequence it was never boring, the song was awesome, and then the glorious death scene of Nehelenia, who, alone of all the MAIN villains of the original dub of the original anime, survived, making this very special to me, not to mention the visuals.

And ends with no cliffhanger so feels like perfect closure and I can die in peace going by this as the finale, as long as it remains watchable. Only thing it leaves me wondering is, were Nehelenia and Zirconia one and the same? It seems like it as Nehelenia turns into Zirconia at the end, but we saw them talking to each other, but some say Nehelenia acted the whole thing out to see her beautiful form as the true Nehelenia, and one was merely a projection/reflection of the other. That reminds me, it could be similar to Gollum)

(Of course, Usagi and Mamoru coughing up blood is the most violent moment of Crystal other than Beryl stabbing Endymion with blood flying then Serenity stabbing herself. All the villains' death scenes were far less graphic than in the manga despite it being 14A. Not that I have a problem with spectacular light shows and family-friendly disintegrations, of course! ;) )

And yeah, I did feel the line about ruling the earth sounded a bit hypocritical, but we don't know the circumstances in which Usagi/Serenity and Mamoru/Endymion came to power, and unlike Nehelenia, they were benevolent rulers to the people and made the world paradise to them. Perhaps the people decided this for some reason, perhaps after saving them from an unspecified conflict? The only ones who were unhappy with the way she did things were the Black Moon, anarchists who disliked the whole immortality/long-lived thing, and Death Phantom who was pure evil and guilty of the most egregious of crimes.

It is true. Early-00s. PGSM era.

I remember reading thousands of comments online stating that the manga was better:

Rei is meant to look like a beautiful and mysterious princess who dislikes men.
Casablanca Memories is one of the best stories ever written.
The 90’s anime got Mamoru’s character wrong.
The break-up arc in R is absurd and shouldn’t exist.
SuperS is horrible. Just read the Dream arc.

Also fans hated PGSM. It was sometime around the last decade that fans’ opinions changed and they embraced PGSM. When PGSM aired, people would roast you if you said anything remotely positive about it. Pretty ironic, considering that Naoko Takeuchi loves tokusatsu shows and PGSM probably was one of her dreams.

I remember watching PGSM on YouTube and I said to a group of fans:

“Rei in this version is closer to her manga version.”

And I was told, among other things, to not dare to compare Naoko Takeuchi‘s manga to a cheap show that exploited Takeuchi‘s work to sell toys.

They have been bashing it even before PGSM, that is because the anime deteriorated in its last two seasons.
