The Italian logo is the new international font for Sailor Moon. I'm guessing the American Manga this September will have that logo too.
Bingo, as already revealed by another thread here. :)

Toonami had the coolest adverts for R and S. They made the show look very dark.

That's why I liked them, haha!

I'm still not keen on the Italian logo, but seeing it actually on the cover of the book it doesn't look too bad. But I just don't like how prissy it looks.

The logo for the anime revival, or the manga revival? The anime one makes me feel so sick that I want to vomit pink sugar and rainbows.

The manga one that they're using in Italy (I think) and over here look much better, even if they are still girly.

Speaking of which, could anybody make a clean rip that logo out of the image I posted? Wikimoon and Wikipedia will need it.

What's wrong w/ it being girly, as it's a manga primarily for girls after all?
Well, just my opinion, but although "Sailor Moon" (I believe) was originally aimed at a female audience, after all these years the fanbase seems pretty mixed, gender wise. And I think that a slightly more.... gender neutral approach is a better way to ensure a potentially bigger audience. I'm quite sure there might be boys out there who would be put off watching the anime/buying the manga is it's all sugary sweetness and pink. Of course, the original fans will get it, but I'm thinking of potential new fans.

I mean, the aforementioned Toonami ads (and logos, keeping it on topic! ^_^' ) make "Sailor Moon" look really different (a little darker, more serious, action packed), because of the way it's presented, y'know?

The new font used for the Sailor Moon manga is called: Caslon No 540 Swash Alternative D Italic It has been altered to add those extra loops on the "S", "M", and "n"
It's $19.95 US to purchase, but before I spend any money, I'll be searching for other ways of obtaining it first :P

Whoever finds it first, post a link here to the .ttf (or .ttc/otf) file :D

I found a torrent that had it, but it was dead with no seeds. :(

Nthing the request to post a font file here if anyone finds it. This and Heatwave (the font used for the DiC episode titles) would complete my Sailor Moon font collection.
