Sounds like a pretty cool project. Are you doing the translation too?

Anyway, assuming you're starting with a RAW .avi file, I think the program you need is called VirtualDub. You can find it here...

EDIT: Hey Neppy! Great minds, and all that! Cool new banner in the sig, by the way.

I actually did a Spanish project on Sailormoon in high school. I discussed the story and the characters all in Spanish. I even showed a film clip of Sailormoon, even though I couldn't get a hold of any Spanish episode, I just showed a scene from the Sailor Moon S movie (the scenes in which all the senshi were transforming). They really liked it! Even someone said that Chibiusa transforming was very cute!

But I had to stop the tape right before Sailormoon transformed because I had to let the other people present their projects too :)

Good luck on your project!

I used a program called "Sub Station Alpha". The creator of this program was a Sailor Moon fan as well. The original site doesn't seem around any more. Found a comment on dvdrhelp.com saying that it's been replaced with this the tool of choice for making .ssa stuff. Looks pretty interesting. I'm gonna try it out.

There's a plug in for Virtual Dub that takes .ssa scripts which you can get off their site: http://www.virtualdub.org/virtualdub_filters

Wow, good luck! If you are successful, I hope you put the subs up. I can't view the TV NiHon subs and I would love to get my hands on some subs I can see. I bet many other have the same problem. I'm rooting for you :D

Here's a site where explains how to do that. Problems is that is in spanish. But if u use Altavista translator, u won't have problems. steps are very simple. Even they put the plug in s u need.
"You" not "u". ^_^

Good luck with your project!
