Strangely enough some dates in March overlapping between London and USA… does it means we will have 2 Teams ? Or are they going to cancel some dates in London (so much dates there making me think they planned too much in London and lot of dates are gonna be cancelled there; Sailor Moon is not so popular in UK to my knowledge …)

They'll either be projected somewhere above or under the stage, or they'll be displayed on a screen at the back or side of the stage.
That's a standard practice for musicals (not just the Sailor Moon ones), operas, etc. performed in foreign countries where the language isn't spoken. :)

Ok. I guess I haven't experienced that sort of thing yet. My theatre experiences are mostly local productions lol. I am thinking about trying to see Sailor Moon though

Interesting. The translation of Moonlight Densetsu has her wishing on a star for a "good end" rather than asking God/a god to give her that good end. Are we still scared of upsetting the fundies after all this time? :P
Looks like the censorship of Sailor Moon is still alive & well these days - wonder what if Uranus & Neptune were also in this show. lol

I think that translation of Moonlight Densetsu is still very needlessly clunky, and it's bizarre that they really did not give any consideration to how they were going to show subtitles on a screen at the back of the stage when figuring out blocking. Half the time there were performers obstructing the view of the subtitles.

It's downright funny how Tux shows up and starts doing cape flourishes RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. Like ok Tux, get some, I guess? But to be honest, if you're attending a Sailor Moon musical and you don't already know the words to Moonlight Densetsu, I'd be super surprised.

So the actors are supposed to be not blocking the words for all the other songs in the musical?

No in my city....looks like I may have to look into catching a flight to a closer city or something. Thankfully the city I will choose it should be warm as we'll be on the edge of Spring so not coats.
