What I find interesting is that the Barenaked Ladies have a song called It's All Been Done and that song reminds me of Sailor Moon and I like to think that song was made with Sailor Moon in mind about Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion who later end up being reincarnated as Usagi and Mamoru based on the lyrics in the song. I wonder if Steven Page is a fan of Sailor Moon and if he got inspiration for the song from Sailor Moon when he wrote It's All Been Done, he's a former member of the band. Steven and Ed Robertson who is another member of the band and the guy who wrote the song One Week (which we all know that song has a reference to Sailor Moon in the lyrics) with some support from Steven Page for Steven's advice, they wrote the majority of Barenaked Ladies songs when they both were active members in the band until Steven left the band in 2009. It's All Been Done and One Week were writen around the same time for the band's 1998 album Stunt. I'm gonna assume Ed is a fan of Sailor Moon because he did put Sailor Moon in the lyrics for One Week when he wrote that song. If it's true that It's All Been Done has inspiration from Sailor Moon it would be an interesting canon if Usagi and/or Mamoru are fans of The Price Is Right, Japan did have its own version of The Price Is Right called The Chance! (ザ・チャンス! in Japanese) from 1979 to 1986, I'm guessing they're was probably reruns of that show after that show ended and I'm guessing the American version was probably broadcasted in Japan too and maybe it still is though I have no idea what Japan's history with television broadcasting is like.
