Which is probably why they’re not being closely aligned with projects like Sailor Moon Cosmos.
I think this is a collaboration that can't even use Sailor Moon imagery. The Jimmy Choo collection apparently only used manga designs not to clash with the lack of involvement by Toei. Actually, the JC collection didn't even have Kodansha in the copyright. Just "NT."
This is all really weird. I wonder what's going on behind the scenes between Naoko, Toei and Kodansha.

Firetruck is one of the worst songs I've ever heard come out of Japan.
Forgettable and sounds more like the trash they keep pumping out in the west.
No heart, no soul, just nails scratching on a chalkboard.
I'd rather listen to a firetruck siren.
Hopefully, they have more to offer than this. I have nothing nice to say about it.

While it's not the worse in my opinion it lacks something. As Jawshx mentioned already it's like a cheap knock off of an Aespa or ITZY song. Even the remix just doesn't leave an impression.

They do. But they started with this one and seem to be stuck with it while they're in L.A. doing photoshoots and I'm assuming whatever new photos that show up on Instagram or Twitter are like 3 or 4 months old. Not having any part of the Cosmos OST is a missed opportunity.

The 2 other tracks they performed on their debut are way better and sounds something I can hear in a new anime.

Thank goodness! I'll look them up some time. I personally love the idea of an idol group based on magical girls. Like MCZ as well as Crayon Pop in Korea with their "FM" song.

What? No "WHY DON"T YOU WORSHIP SG5 memes?"

So far no updates on Youtube, Twitter or Instagram and thinking it's unofficially disbanded much like Blackpink given YG's lack of interest in it and rumors of Lalisa not renewing her contract plus a ton of other rumors about YG from it's CEO, falling stocks and some recent scandals.

I decided to check up on SG5's individual Twitter activity and it's pretty active so far. Wishing this Jpop group makes it big in the future.

^ She's a guest at a major annual fashion event of the country, Tokyo Girls Collection - not sure if it's got anything to do w/ the group SG5, tho.

Checked out Miyuu's Instagram. Apparently they're still active as a group probably doing behind the scenes stuff. Well this was posted in December.

Checked SG5's official webpage. I'm wondering why they're stuck with 'Firetruck' when they've got 2 better tracks they can promote.
