No no I mean you have made your point. I personally like the actual manga scenario better as she was at least the only one enemy that was partially redeemed in the manga and it was a bit different. In the 90s anime she was yet another redeemed one and it would have been nice if the 90s used that idea fir a bit of a freshness and to make ger memorable. The manga Chaos and the whole concept was ahead of its time and in away Madoka got all the credit for a similar concept.

What I am trying to say is that both Manga and Anime changed from the original plan/outline of Stars Naoko planned for the Anime and Manga and Naoko changed her mind after the anime was already finalized.
I think if they proceeded with Eternal Fuku for the other senshi, Usagi and ChibiChibi being Cosmos and Galaxia being Chaos ending up being sealed instead of being redeemed, Naoko would have Galaxia being Chaos ending up being sealed on the Manga as well.
This reminds me of Madoka Magica's ending in some way.

Actually, I think the original planned ending of Stars is too graphic and violent for the magazine it was originally serialized that it can only be published had the Starlights Arc of the Sailor Stars anime followed the original draft of Naoko, but the concept and theme of the original and the actual remained the same at least.

True, the concept and the ending was great in the manga. It was just a bit odd and would have been better with more setup.

Which made the ending very unconvincing. Why blame it on Chaos when you don't even have setup to build it up? The audience still mostly blame on Galaxia and wish to see her get beaten.

The manga at least gave her some motivation for corruption with the hints she came up from a ruined planet and she was struggling and lonely. The 90s came up with it out of nowhere.

I don't think she was "corrupted" in the manga, she mostly chose to "make the deal with the devil" to gain power at the same time try to break free.
The anime went wayyy too far to have her kill every senshi at the same time REFUSE to let us see her get beaten before redemption, nor did she make any sacrifice for it. Not sure what came into the designer's mind.

What I actually like about Takeuchi is that she was open about changing and toning down the ending of Stars in the Manga as long as it would maintain the message and the theme, compare that to CLAMP who decided to put X on a hiatus just because the Editor refused to publish the original ending.
