If I were a voice actor, I would be very worried about studios using AI to replace me.
It can replace most of us to be honest. I doubt it will be able to provide dental care anytime soon, so I am relatively calm myself, but when it comes to all sort of other jobs - like voice acting, coding, teaching... It is a bleak prospect. Let's hope they regulate it properly. On the bright side all these entitles game journos will get what they were asking for.

I am a teacher and over the decades many companies have created software to replace us. So far it has not worked.

My years of experience have taught me that being a teacher is no different than being a psychologist: you are ultimately dealing with human minds and human minds process ideas differently. Also, a school is also not just a place to learn academic subjects. It is also a place where we learn how to socialize as humans. Furthermore, many theorists, e.g. Lev Vigostsky, assert that cognitive development occurs as a result of social interaction. We learn by interacting with others.

Of course you are right - but this thing is constantly evolving and it might get to a point where it will be tailored for each child needs, strength and weaknesses that it will replace human contact - sad but in my opinion inevitable. Let's just hope it takes long enough for humanity to adapt.

So..announcement in octorber and release in december?(maybe around Christmas)? Ugh I don't want to wait other 6 months
Netflix's announcement was April. Broadcast on their platform on June 3 (from memory), and a Japanese physical release at the end of the month.
We had to wait 2 months between the announcement and the broadcast.

So, if we calculate all that, September, an announcement (2 months), and then add 2 months like for Eternal.
That is 4 months. So, broadcast November. Unless they have learned from their mistakes and are going faster. But generally, physical releases are less than 6 months in Japan for Toei titles.

The Pokemon English dub isn't going on strike and some of the vas from there voiced some characters from Sailor Moon as well so the strike might not effect anything for the dubbing of these movies.

Oh then how Cosmos will get released internationally if some of the vas are on strike?
Well that strike is US only so I don’t see why it would affect other countries. They could replace the whole cast and dub it in another English speaking country (since US isn’t known for being very sentimental on strikes is it ? ). Or they could just delay the dubbed version (they did that during covid, releasing only subtitled version for some series in France, if I remember correctly, the dub came later).

I think we're assuming the dubbing process
has not already begun. I don't think they would use a new cast.
