Also Galaxia wasn't trying to dismantle the caste system based on Star Seed power, she wanted to be on the top of it and rule the Galaxy. She believed that people born with weaker crystals were trash and would forever remain trash. Usagi was the one saying it was wrong to judge people's power and worth solely by their crystals. Galaxia's a Star Seed supremacist with a deep-seated inferiority complex.
She still promised/offered to make regular civilians into Sailor Senshi by “distributing” the Sailor Crystal Star Seeds amongst them, does that not count as trying to overturn the system and akin to the promises Marxist leaders have always made?

Also she herself was originally of a “weak/trash” Star Seed and Sailor Crystal and yet she managed to claw herself up to the way of the top through hard work, defying the system.

It's insane anyone can look at Galaxia's "I'm the strongest in the universe everyone else is beneath me" and go "Yaaas babes woke Marxist queen dismantle the system that oppresses others "
To be fair isn’t this how all Communist leaders have ended up historically? Dictators who make themselves out to be like a God and take all the power for themselves? :mischief:

One could argue this is why Communism as a system ultimately doesn’t work, even though it’s a nice concept in theory.

I’m a cis woman by the by, not a man!

Now I will say this the Black Moon Clan in the manga and the Sera Myu were very Communist or Nazi
>Manga BMC
>Communist

Pick one and only one, how can the BMC in the Manga be Communist when Manga Demande’s whole philosophy on life is that Might Makes Right and that life is an eternal power struggle for dominance? He’s basically a fascist, do you even know what Communism is?

Nazi is closer to what the BMC are in the manga but still way off considering they have no notions of racial purity ideals, they’re basically just a right-wing conservative, religious, Death Cult.

like how the CCP did with the 4 olds
?? What on earth are you talking about here?

Ok, no, help me out here, I'm not understanding this nor following your theory. Clawing your way to the top is the whole point of the bourgeoisie and capitalistic society. Power, in Marx, isn't something you can gain through hard work, power is the State, as the whole labour force working together for a goal. Meritocracy (and merit itself in general) is totally off the table in a communist society, people strive together towards the road of a classless society, and I can't really see Sailor Galaxia aiming to this.

I think something along the line of Japan's Rengo Sekigun or Italy's Brigate Rosse. But honestly, to me BMC is just a generic anarchic group with some religious elements in it.

Okay you got me there, you have a good point. Hmm maybe I was just thrown off by all the talk of removing the in-built system and status quo as well as her attempting to recruit and turn regular civilians into Senshi despite them not being born with Sailor Crystal Star Seeds.

Also she defines every single person regarding where they were born on the Star Seed hierarchy, while she uses it for the exact opposite reason the Marxist far left does, the mentality and overfocus on identity politics is still the same: You are defined by the way you were born and how you fit into the system/how much power you have, this is the exact opposite of traditional (not religious or fascist) conservatism/libertarianism which defines people by their character (like Usagi) rather than how they fit within the hierarchy or their in-born, immutable traits.

It’s weird, analyzing it further it seems Manga Galaxia is some strange amalgamation of both Marxist and Fascist world-views, she doesn’t seem to have a very consistent philosophy, (if she were fully fascist her whole M.O. wouldn’t be recruiting civilians and turning them into Senshi as she would’ve just killed them off and deemed them as having worthless potential to begin with - I mean she does do that too but only when they fail. She still gives the illusion of galactic wide Star Seed equality.) likely speaking to Naoko’s own inconsistent and poor/rushed writing quality where she just threw everything at the wall without thinking it through.

They read to me as Crystal Tokyo’s version of the alt-right, I mean the alt-right is technically anarchist too considering the insurrection stunt they pulled at the Capitol.

(This is in contrast to the 90’s anime BMC who started out as Freedom Fighters)
