If you guys haven't been following, please check this video out.
Don Perry sent me this CD and I uploaded it to YouTube. I'm doing my best to share this everywhere I can. I plan to update the Lost Media Wiki page and all that stuff.

Thank you so much, this is amazing!! Can honestly say I’ve waited most of my life for this. Now this may be a slim chance but is there anyway you would be able to post the Tv version of Only a Memory Away? That version of the song has never seen the light of day outside of the episode it was in.

Bruh, I don't own those.
I only got what was provided to me.
Those versions will probably will never see the light of day.

I don’t think Bob Summers and Don Perry handled the vocal songs. They were hired by DiC to compose the incidental music for the show but the vocal songs were handled by The Music Kitchen.

This is sooo great. The 90's American OST has a special charm to it and many of the tunes are so good. They sound more "modern" than the original 90's anime. Both are great in their own ways.
Exactly. I wish more people felt this way instead of arguing over which version is better. I think the Japanese soundtrack and DiC soundtrack both have their own charm, and both fit the series well. I love em both.

Same with I Wanna be a Star, it was quite different from the CD version and I would love to see that surface one day as well.

It’s worth repeating that the composer for the Japanese score says he was going for a Charlie Angel’s vibe so the 70s action show vibe is pretty evident. Bob Summers was clearly going for a 90s kid cartoon vibe. He used Moonlight Densetsu as a base for most of the score so it still feels like it belongs on Sailor Moon unlike a lot of other replacement scores.

Both are valid.

So, this morning, I converted the flacc files to mp3 files for my iTunes. Got the album ready, but it seems it list the songs alphabetically. I downloaded the back guide to fix it.

Thanks for putting this up.

Yeah that's true. And I can now say that I enjoyed both soundtracks freely.

This is truly amazing. It makes me wanna redo the original dubs of the movies, since they used the DiC cues so poorly there.

I honestly think you should the lost episodes and movies were a free for all
I made peace with the movies because they sound better with the Japanese music anyways (which is interesting because the S series dub and to a lesser extent the SuperS tv dub do not)

But The Lost Episodes….oof. They would benefit from a fan edit rescoring the episodes with the DiC cues being placed better

I honestly never noticed anything with The Lost Episodes, but then again I haven't seen them in forever. I'll pop in the edited movies randomly every now and then.
