I'm surprised they kept the preview since those usually get cut on Toonami for other shows.

I guess it's a fair compromise since topical promos for each episode were a longshot. At least this way, viewers can see what to expect next week.
Disappointed about the credits not having what we were looking for, but oh well. Just happy to have the series back on TV with bumpers to boot. I'll take it!

The eyecatches being removed isn't the least bit surprising since Toonami did that to all their shows in favor of their own custom eye catches.
Not surprising Viz(?) just did an easy boilerplate end credits instead of episode specific.
The DiC and Cloverway dubs also did generic credits that stayed the same from every episode (other than switching Tracey Moore and Rino Romano out with Terri Hawkes and Toby Proctor) so you would see like Dennis Akiyama and Stephanie Morgenstern credited long before Malachite and Mina showed up.

I'm pretty sure the practice with new shows on Toonami has always been to play it unedited for the network premiere then edited for every episode after. At least that's how it's been with the move to Adult Swim.
Loved the cut too, so round of applause to the editors there. And woo, looks like we can expect new bumpers every week. Wasn't too sure if that would happen, but I'll take it!

Two episodes; the one that was CUT originally with Usagi going to the beach with Ami and Rei. They get stuck in a "haunted house" that actually has nothing to do with Beryl this time (I love eps like this tbh) Ami befriends a young psychic girl who is causing "the ghosts". It's wholesome.
Second one was Nephrite targeting a young animator working on the Sailor V movie.

And next week's episode is when Usagi dances with Tux and has her first kiss.
