I think we could have something better than Eternal and Crystal if the rights owners like TOEI and PNP treated the fans better.
Crystal's woes started when it was decided it'd be an ONA with typical rushed ONA production values. I don't know if that was on TOEI, PNP, or both, but that was a mistake by all accounts. Given the disastrous results I've seen in other TOEI ONA projects, I'd say this was on Toei, though PNP should have also put its foot down to ensure it'd get better production values. Even if you personally think the manga story is the worst ever, I guarantee that if Crystal had better production values its reception would have been great from the start.

Crystal should have not an on a.This part of the reason I don't blame staff.I think the staff did tried there best, but budget constraints.Made things harder.

(1) I am not an expert and I know very little about animation.

(2) I also never watched Precure (I have only seen some scenes), but Precure back in 2014-15 didn’t look spectacular to me:

I am speculating here, but I suppose that TOEI was struggling with money. Moreover, the character designs of Crystal seasons 1-2 were very detailed and, therefore, difficult to animate.

Go Princess Precure (the following season) is the more spectacular one IMO.

I am not an animation expert, but TOEI supposedly puts more stock in Precure than it does in Sailor Moon. The clips I saw from the 2014 season of Precure look standard to me, neither below or above average.

Personal opinion.

Kero abused her mod power, she bullied people on here. Like the time she and Kyaa kept pointing out another member's spelling and grammar errors in a fan fic, and not in a "Hey you made a few errors, would you like some help" kind of way. Even after being asked to stop they didn't and when that members stood up for themselves they were banned.

but sure she was great /S

If it actually expanded on the manga or enriched it in any way, then yes it would have been worthwhile. But what's the point of a poorly copy-paste, panel-by-panel hack job of an anime adaptation? Just read the manga or watch the Nelke musicals instead.
Exactly! I thought that was what they were going to do when Crystal was first announced to have 26 episodes. The 1to1 format really hurt Crystal.

Well, the manga story where you can see the action in color and hear voices and soundtracks. An anime version of the manga story for people who prefer anime. DBZ anime was mainly this, after all. Where original Sailor Moon told its own story (though similar in many parts) with the same characters.

I've always wanted an animated version of the manga, I think the story deserves it, but it certainly doesn't deserve the treatment given by toei.

true, with happinesscharge they had hit a rock bottom I never thought they would ever hit. I remember that in one of the episodes the fairies had a face that seemed to have been gouged on one side with a huge spoon (I don't remember the episode but it was the first time it aired on TV)

Go Princess Precure... Does that have a dub? And does it destroy the main villain in a spectacular light show?
No, it has never been dubbed outside of Japan, but it is worth watching. For the ending, if you ever want to watch the series I don't want to spoil anything! ^-^

I wished this remake had Heartcatch, smile or gopri staff .-. It would have been very different.

You make a good point. Dbz and dragonball is retelling of the manga with more story added in as filler. While sailor moon while like the manga is ver different and both have characters that do not show up the other version.
