Was the Stars arc always meant to suck?

so for you : lies is fairytale ? Controlling someone’s life is fairytale ? Harassment is fairytale ? Not hearing someone's no is fairytale ? Not asking the consent of someone is fairytale ? Transforming into sailor moon, is fairytale as well, but not lies, control, harassement, those are the things who can be lived in real life actually. And how you can like them on a book, movie, anime, and reject them in real life. If I read a book, and I cry because of a beautiful love story, it’s because love in real life is beautiful, and lies, harassement, agressivity gives us resentment even when it's in a novel or a manga. So why is it acceptable to you, when these bad actions are done by seiya?

it’s that, that I don’t understand. How people can find funny, a guy who tries to push on a girl who don’t want him, how people can find the harassment funny. Do you find that the fact seiya lied to the coach, by saying that usagi wanted to play baseball, without her consent, funny ? Do You find funny that he trained her hard, this was mental and physical abuse, and worse it was for his own interest because he lied to an entire school about her private life, because he lied by saying that they were a couple. Do you really find those action funny ? The lies, the control ? Do you find physical and mental abuse funny… do you find those action funny ? It’s just a question. I just can’t understand why woman who has to be empowered, independent with self love and not sell their self respect, like those kind of behaviour. Woman’s need respect, and others woman don’t have to praise those kind of disrespect. I repeat those action can be lived in real life. If a man treats a woman like that in real life, how you will react ? Sometimes I’m really hard with my patients, to makes them understand that they had to choose the right path, that yes unfortunately bad people exist, but having them in your life, is a choice, not a fate.
because they always choose the wrong man, they always repeat the same cycle, and they destroy themselves their own life, because of bad choices.

because seiya didn’t only that, everything he does was problematic.

is only a tv show is not real life, is fiction is not real, dont take it more seriously, the people watch the show trying to have a happy time,
and in the episode of the usagi and seiya date she even blush i dont know and later usagi still blush with seiya, i still know she loved mamoru, and i like some others characters like the villans that make me laugh

people start posting.

bunny SOMEHOW manages to turn the conversation into seiya.

everyone starts to complain.

and the thread starts to be about seiya , seiya and seiya.

and the thread is cauldroned by rika.

so the only way i find to avoid that this thread wil be cauldroned is to ignore bunny.

she will continue thinking that seiya is the hitler of sailor moon , it doesnt matter what well say to her.

so just ignore her when she starts changing the topic to seiya.

she blush with her own daughter, with Pegasus, with Rei, but she never blushed for Mamoru, she is madly in love with him, but she rarely blush with him, and when she did it, she’s light pink, at the end of the episode 200. Blushing is not only a sign of romantic love, it can be a sign of affection, embarrassment
In the original version, usagi was always firm, she always used the word friend…
Vilains are vilains, if they lie, they are vilains, they are supposed to hurt people, they don’t try to turn lies into a good action…

I don't think an arc is ever "meant to suck" unless someone is deliberately trying to tank the franchise. I doubt this is true for either anime or manga version of Stars.
