is more ambitious in this version. She wants to cheat Metaria, have the power of Silver Crystal all to herself and become some kind of ruler—with Endymion by her side.

We see a similar narrative in “Stars.” Galaxia attempted to cheat Chaos, too.

Naoko did this villain better. She had more of a backstory. I think she is understandable enough in the 90s anime, a ruthless dictator who wants to force a man to love her is an interesting take. But I prefer Naoko's take.

I wish there were screenshots so we could actually remember what level of horr… disappointment these episodes were.

This was the exact same way I went over PGSM. I think I just had more interesting things to say over there. Crystal hasn't really wowed me or severally disappointed me. I've just been getting this weird empty feeling every time I've watched it for the past two days [though I'm hoping it's not related]. I can add screenshots if that helps.... How do I add screenshots

Is there anything else I can do to make these more interesting?

Oh I’m sorry if it was not clear but we weren’t criticizing your reviews at all. We just thought that considering how polarizing is Crystal s1-2, there would be more drama in your thread but it seems pretty chill at the moment.

I was referring to screenshots because one of the most criticized aspect of that season is the design / animation, which is (at least for me) absolutely awful, and usually everyone is arguing to no end about it. We were kinda expecting some fun arguments to be honest hehe.

But please continue your reviews What do you think about the animation ?

MOST of the time I was hoping the movements were more exaggerated. For instance, If Usagi was restless I would be hoping for something like this:

You are very lucky.

Back in the day, TOEI made us wait 2-3 weeks for each episode.

I remember staying awake until midnight to watch each episode of Crystal.

Eventually, I got tired of the ONA format and gave up completely.

I only gave Crystal a chance again in 2020, and, to much of my surprise, I loved the show. It felt nice binge-watching the episodes without interruptions.

And, yeah, although there was more division back then than there it is today, the Sailor Jupiter episode seemed to please fans.

I remember those days... Crystal I and II were aired at 5 PM in my region. I left my work at 12 PM, prepared snacks, foods, watched the episodes and went here to discuss with everyone. Best way to end a week. I still remember being the first person to create the thread for Act 1, before it was released.
This journey will come to an end next June. I'll feel so much lonely.

That's cause someone misused their best trap cards to the graveyard and have it all banished from there.

One should be always ready with a Level 10 or 12 white knight to summon from the extra deck when using such a powerful trap card.

Even the worse had at least one white knight.

Are there any particular shots anyone wants to share? Considering the warnings, I got and Clow mentioning y'all had to wait 2-3 weeks for each episode. Also does anyone else have any stories about when they first watched Crystal.

Season 2 was probably my favorite of Crystals. I believe it was ironically bit darker than the "Dark Kingdom" arc and I imagine if Sailor Moon was like it was in the manga, what would the responses be?
