I would prefer this as well. If there is any addition to the Infinity arc that they can do, a canon Haruka and Michiru kiss would be the absolute best thing that they can do. But the fandom might have problems if they cut out one of the scenes that they have been looking forward to seeing so they are likely going to keep it.

But how did Haruka cheat on Michiru? Besides, even if it was considered "cheating", at least we know Haruka is not "perfect". It was a harmless kiss and even so, Haruka's heart is bound to Michiru. Its not like she was tonguing Usagi down under the moonlight. 
I hope they keep it in.

Exactly. If they're keeping the kiss (which apparently they are, ugh), then they better explain WHY Haruka kissed her, show Michiru's reaction, and then show Haruka and Michiru working through whatever issues they're having that would lead Haruka to kiss another woman, so that the kiss leads to development for THEIR relationship, not Usagi and Mamoru's ~Miracle Romance~ as in the manga.
Haruka kiss her was just a form of affection that is it. It was not romantic ,and shouldn't be seen as such.They don't need to explain why Haruka kiss Usagi . Haruka just care s for her deeply,and that s all.. Besides Usagi,and Mamoru is the main couple . It make sense we get the most development out of them. Crystal,and manga are not a series where every character,and relationship is focus. So expecting your going to get a lot of extra development for the character s your going to be disappointed. Who knows maybe at one year ,will get that series .Where everything is equally focus,and flesjh out . Where Nako s idea s are fully explore,but Crystal is not that adaption that s going to do that.
That's not Memento's point at all. You can develop Usagi and Mamoru's relationship without 'essentially' making Haruka cheat on Michiru*. I honestly think another jealousy subplot was not necessary especially after Usagi spent the whole of last arc being jealous of Chibiusa.
With that said, I never interpreted the kiss as romantic either. I thought of it as symbolic of Uranus and Neptune's extreme loneliness during the Silver Millennium. But I also think it can be handled better, and while I like where the new season is going, I don't fully trust them in smoothing out some of the problems with the kiss. It's going to be very divisive for a lot of fans.
*Regardless if a kiss is romantic or not, it's up to the partner in a relationship to decide whether he or she thinks of it as cheating or not. And unfortunately, we don't know anything to interpret how Michiru felt in regards to it.
