What are your “forbidden” opinions about the story, characters, franchise, etc. that would get your Sailor Moon fan card revoked?

I would have preferred if TOEI and Bandai allowed the plot that Igarashi and Takeuchi made to air, which is the plot talked about in Materials Collection...
We would have seen the other Senshi upgraded to Eternal Outfits by Chibichibi not just Chibichibi giving Usagi an attack upgrade, Sailor Cosmos, and Takeuchi would not have been upset by TOEI and Bandai in this scenario.

Most opinions so far are common inside this forum or outside it, so I'll give you one that is forbidden everywhere: I didn't care that much for S and it's actually one of my least favorite seasons.
Not to play a game of one-upmanship, but do you know of a place where it's a common opinion that Sailor Moon is better fully Westernized? Because all the people I know who held it got chased away and I'd definitely go there if I found others who shared it.

I prefer Luna DIC/Cloverway dub British nanny voice as I think it fits her character better.
Even Takeuchi commented that Toei made Luna into a matriarchal nag. Optimum Productions just took the change to its logical conclusion by giving her a British nanny voice to suit her.

I dunno trying to fully westernize a series where one of the characters is a Shinto Priestess seems close to a fool's errands. I do kinda wish the old dub had just been comitted to at least being culturally vague of where the setting is though. You have characters with names like Serena, Molly, and Darien. Everyone is speaking English, and seems on the up and up with American pop culture references like Joey Lawrence and Batman but lol they live in Japan. I don't need them saying "Being American is great, I love living in America!" but be more vague of where the setting is, ya know? Crystal city or Crystal Topia. Kaorinite has attacked the nondescriptive Radio Tower

I do think the localization team made the right call putting a more Western perspective on certain things. Like keeping Ikuko's Tiger Mom attitude in check and letting Lita embrace traditional masculine and feminine hobbies because she ENJOYS them and not because she's some "masculine" weirdo who consciously chose feminine hobbies to more approachable in a patriarchal society that expects women to be feminine.

Don't forget the weight loss episode from the original dub was changed to a more suiting "eat healthy and exercise" episode in the DiC dub. That's one episode DiC definitely made better.

Oh yes, not just the moral being better but I found the dub episode in general being way funnier like Serena's Andrew fantasy and Serena freaking out over gaining half a pound.

Also the little things they altered like saying Serena had pigged out at a restaurant off screen and THEN ate six doughnuts instead of Usagi having 6 pork buns, after literally eating nothing all day, and the show being like "lol what a fatty fat mcfatterson"

The DiC version is easily in my top 10 favorite episodes of the dub...the Japanese episode, eh, if I ignore the horrendous fatphobic moral, the episode is alright, I guess.

I havent saw the episode where :usagi:,:ami:, and:rei: got to the haunted house in season 1, it bored me.

some eps of the nephrite x naru arc , made me want to sleep as well , i didnt even remember the plot of the episode where naru blocked the moon tiara of sailormoon.

i like the american names of the inners and ::tuxspeedmask:, i am okay with the original names of the rest.
but i still call usagi and mamo , serena and darien , when nobody is watching me:vanish:.
