What have you learned from PGSM?

Not to sound like a copout, but what I have learned from PGSM has not nnecessarily been from the show itself, but from this website because of PGSM. Despite the Hama jokes, I thought the food references were interesting in the diaries (I regularly drink soy milk - go Azama-san!). Kitagawa-san from time to time has something interesting to say about life in Japan (particularly in reference to how the "I" and "team" mentality is different in America in reference to baseball, as well as the evolving thinking in Japan's newest generation). Even though I don't have a worthwhile reply to post, that survey article Jay posted in Off-topic has stayed on my mind since I read it (though I would like to see a counter-balanced article).

As for the show itself, Im usually looking at the backgrounds (such as that wide shot of Usagi walking at the beginning of Act 17), looking to see how different Tokyo life is different than my own. I particularly look at the cars that we don't get here. It would be interesting to see a website that shows the various live locations that are shot in PGSM, and where they are located on a map.

I don't get it; that's pretty good English to me...

I learned that the word "omelette" in Japanese is generally 'omelette,' only pronounced differently. I also thought it was interesting to know that when someone talks about "so-and-so," so-and-so sneezes. I think you people know what I'm talking about.

And I also learned that Hino Rei is my alter ego. I'll find my differences with her some other time.

Me too! In past weeks I posted some posts here, and from it I just learned I needed to work harder to study English.
Yes, lately I've spent much time to study English than ever, so I'm sorry I don't have enough time to catch up well with this forum now.

Not necessarily from watching PGSM, but from downloading PGSM, I've learned that it's incredibly tough for the distrobuters to, well, distribute.

Usually I head by IRC if I'm too impatient to wait for the BT, and it's quite HILARIOUS to watch some of the "newbies." Right at the top it says something like, 'Don't ask if _______ is here yet' and then five minutes later, you have tons of people going, "Is _______ here yet?" I remember I went to the #tv-nihon channel last Wednesday, and I watched the mods get fed up with all these people, asking about the BT, or the new SM episode, and it's amazing how they can stand going through all that. I know I wouldn't be able to! I'd be like #(#)*$)(#*)($@)#($* GTFO.

I also learned that people named Shibue Jyoji and Kitagawa Keiko are fine fine FINE looking people.
