I will be excluding from what I will cite anything on R34 SM, because I refuse to go there. Clow is apparently more informed on this topic.

The Presidents Discuss Sailor Moon - YouTube

This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen AI do. Someone else did it for discussions of the Roman Emperors Justinian and Constantine, but this one takes the cake. I can at least imagine that something about history involving old kings might get some politicians´ opinions, but simping for Mercury and Mars? That´s something else.

I know very little about this topic. ^_^'

All I know is that the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) and SAG-AFTRA, a labor union representing 160,000 actors in Hollywood, are on strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). The problem is the potential use of Artificial Intelligence by big Hollywood studios to produce film scripts and also entirely replace actors and/or use their voices.

I think they're fighting a losing war in the long run, even tho they might be able to win some battles in that war. lol

It is immoral what studios are doing, I think.

To maximize gains, they are already replacing extras and minor roles in films and TV shows with CGI and AI.

Soon they will create fake/virtual actors? How are we going to relate to them and other things, e.g. music, as humans?

Look at what AI can do (and no, this is not Tom Cruise):

I heard a rumor that in order to maximize gains, they are also planning to kick out all scribes and illuminators from scriptoriums, and start mass-producing soulless books using their diabolical printing machines. What is next? Mechanical looms to take jobs of our wives? Mechanical carriages to replace our trusty horses? :grey:

I've also heard about mechanical plows. What am I going to with my slaves, now?

Send them to Brazil. They didn´t abolish slavery until 1888. Actually, something weird to me is that virtually all pre-industrial societies had slavery or unfree labour in some form, Silver Millennium is one of the weird exceptions.

Anyway, I think the best AI Fanwork is almost anything made with Stable Diffusion.

sailor moon Stable Diffusion AI Models | Civitai
They look way better than the works of many human fanartists, but then some people may say they've got no "souls" (or something like that), but then I'd ask, "what souls?".

Yeah, even the currently most advanced AI software are still relatively primitive & can still make many (embarrassing) errors, but after a certain number of generations of upgrading, I think they'll become indistinguishable from humans - perhaps only except that they're markedly smarter & better than humans in handling various tasks lol - & something qualitatively very different in nature could emerge in them, whether humans could tell that or not. And by then arguing whether they really have "souls," "consciousness," "ghosts," or w/e will become moot, since they'll be behaving exactly as if they have, whether they really have or not.

Neurologically speaking, the human brain is also a (biological/organic) machine, but humans (as well as some other species) do have consciousness emerging from that machine comprising of a very huge but still limited number of neurons, each of which is just a soulless, automatic relaying node for electrical/chemical signals. lol

Due to extremely low maintenance costs, ChatGPT can't compete with my performance per dollar, so I'm not particularly worried. But Spanish language teachers and other "creative/artistic" professions in first-world countries may indeed become redundant soon. Because AI can do their jobs at a tiny fraction of what their charge for their time. P-:

Yeah, as well as many other professional & managerial jobs too. For the same reason, the jobs of many manual works are still relatively safe or at least not losing quickly for now, contrasting previous predictions presuming the "rise" of intelligent physical bots. lol

Being a teacher is the same as being a psychologist because you are essentially working with human minds. Many theorists, e.g. Lev Vygotsky (Russian), have established that learning and cognitive development occur during social interactions. Furthermore, you go to school to learn how to socialize, work with other fellow human beings and function in society. Unless human beings are replaced with robots, schools will always exist. AI will be a tool that teachers will use, just like iPads are.
In due course, even such social interactions will also be able to be done virtually by AI software in way higher speed & way bigger number than IRL - in principle, not quite unlike their doing countless number of interactions in virtual go games (hence being able to win the game from top human go players). :)
