What movies do you think the Senshi would like?

Hi, y'all! I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, I haven't been here in ages, but I was just wondering what your answers to this question were. It's movie night, and the Senshi are all have a different choice for what movie to pick. What do you think it would be?

Idky, but I can very easily see Usagi wanting to watch Mean Girls because of the aesthetic and not because she has actually seen it before to know she'll enjoy it. But once she does o_o

I think Ami would like A Silent Voice.

And Rei would probably want to watch either Heathers or Jennifer's Body.

Minako is a hopeless romantic, so definitely a lovey-dovey fairytale, I'm gonna go with Cinderella(1997).

Makoto I can see enjoying a female-led girl power action movie, like Wonder Woman or Charlie's Angels, or perhaps the Totally Spies movie! Gotta love that ass-kicking femininity in droves.

Chibiusa would definitely want to watch a cutesy kiddie movie like Lilo and Stitch, or something about mermaids/fairies/unicorns. Something Tinkerbelly.

So what do you think? Feel free to agree or disagree. And what about the Outer Senshi as well?

Usagi - Disney fairytales, romantic comedies, I am sure she was one of the Twilight fans; she is also a shipper, a toxic one.
Ami - She watches mostly non-fiction, documentaries, sci-fi, medical and historical documentaries and she is very annoying as she knows more than the people behind them and always point out the mistakes.
Rei - manga Rei watches supernatural horror movies - I think she loves ghost stories, haunted mansions etc.
Makoto - She has a bit of Usagi's taste - she loves romantic comedies, romance in general but she also has a full collection of Jackie Chan's filmography as well as Cat's Eye and similar titles that have strong yet feminine female protagonists;
Minako - Minako loves to watch westerns, movies about knights and TELENOVELAS - everything should be over the top for her and she loves the cheesiest stuff.

Fun topic!
- I could see Usagi being a fan of classic Disney princess romance films like Snow White, Cinderella, and sleeping beauty. I think she’d ask mamo-Chan to watch them over and over when they have a movie night. And he does. He loves seeing her happy.

- I think Ami would love a film like hidden figures. I think she’d love biography films and also films about animals also mother-daughter movies. Ones she can watch with her mom when she’s from work.

- Rei is the toughest for me to decide but I think she would love historical films. I wish I knew more Japanese cinema but I think she’d love old Japanese films she’d watch with her grand pa. The one I know is called late spring I think she’d love that.

-I secretly think Makoto would be a pride & Prejudice fan and anything from Jane Austen. She made be fought on the outside but she’s a softie on the inside. she’s also a romantic at heart. She would love films with aesthetics and a bit of escapism. I can see her eating her yummy home cooked foods, surrounded by her plants, just enjoying a movie after a long day.


-Minako would be up to date on so many films! She would be obsessed over a new release, follow many actors and actresses and be non stop talking about the movies she watched with the whole group. She would drag everyone in the group to see a movie. I actually think she’d love musicals, romance and Bollywood! She’d enjoy high school musical, clueless, and in Bollywood I think she would love Aisha, and Ram-Leela

-Chibiusa would secretly love my little, frozen, trolls, but to her friends she says she’s more matchure and not a baby and tells them she watches Disney descendants


-Haruka would love action films, with bad ass female leads, I also think she’d like comedies, out of all the senshi tho I think she’d watch the least amount of films. As she wants to be on the go. But she’ll go on a movie date with Michiru. Some of her favorites would be Bend it like Beckham, the woman king, and fast and the furious.



- I think Michiru would be a sofia coppola fan. She’d also love old Hollywood films, indie art films, and musicals, she would love style, and aesthetics. Some of her favorites would be An American in Paris, Shall we dance, Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, The virgin suicides

- Setsuna would love historical, and heart crushing romance films. Also fashion films. I think she’d be the one to go see a movie alone. Just her and her popcorn, and soak in the film and be with her emotions. I think she’d love the notebook, Roman holiday, age of adaline, and phantom of the opera.

-Hotaru would so be a Tim burton fan. She would love gothic romance and animation, tho she’ll also secretly enjoy the colorful movies when she watches them with her best friend Chibiusa. Some of her favorite s would be Edward scissor hands, coralline, wizard of oz.
