The Stars manga established the existence of multiple senshi. Creating multiple spin-offs connected to a multiverse should not be difficult. Personally, I would not oppose the idea, as long as it is approved by Naoko Takeuchi. That being said, why would TOEI even care about a Sailor Moon spin-off when it did not give the adaptation of the manga the budget that it deserved?
The Toei in another universe of the multiverse would care & introduce various phases of Sailor Moon productions for that like the MCU. lol

Why would they do that? I mean they have their own Precure multiverse. Why would they make something that would rival their own property for something they have to pay to PNP for?

For ones whom aren't Chibi Moon fans (such as myself) may not want that though. The Asteroid Senshi are interesting though overall.
Funny you mention that because I used to hate Chibi-usa with a firey passion...and then I watched Crystal from start to end and I think I can tolerate her now; she is not at all like the Chibi-usa from the 90s version.

If Naoko continues with her plotline as a senshi and the Quartet, I'm all for it. (I love the Quartet lol)

Depends on what you count as live action, the ice skate show has a good chance of happening in the future and so do more musicals, these would all be live action adaptations.
By live-action, I mean a TV series or a movie. I don't expect that happening anytime soon, if ever. But I'm sure the franchise will keep going on with more merch, brand collaborations, mobile games, museum exhibits, coffee shops, musicals etc.

In that sense, I expect the same, but back to my original point, all the merch, brand collaborations, mobile games, museum exhibits, coffee shops, musicals etc. will be owned and touched by Naoko one way or another.

Is it possible the other short stories could just happen somewhat detached from Crystal. In one of her notes, Naoko said she would like to see an animated adaptation of some of the short stories like Casablanca Memories.

I've seen Yuyu Hakusho have OVAs that adapt stories like one that shows when Hiei and Kurama met. That happened around 2018 along with a Blu Ray release. Maybe something similar could happen with Crystal

I hope Naoko Takeuchi doesn't touch it again.
She'd suddenly change her mind, sell the franchise to Disney like George Lucas did, & call it a day. Expect Sailor Moon attractions & character performers in Disneylands around the world. :googly:
