I mean I think It's actually kind of disgusting .Hoping that a creator shouldn't touch there property again or have any say in adaption again.I saying this for any property.I don't think any property should ripped away from author no matter what.
Just because they wanted something different. Its also luderxurous to think without Naoko the current affairs would be different.

It feels like some fans think Naoko holds the serise hostage and that Naoko was gone.Toei would be realeved and be finally free to do what they want.Which is also unlikely.

There is no proof that Toei want do something different with the reboot or Toei want to do other sailor moon shows. Its like when people far fetch theory why Crystal was still going on.That must been a ploy toei to take the rights backs.Ignoring Crystal probably did give some profit toei.

If Toei really wanted to do other sailor moon shows in 2000s I they would have done it.If they asked Naoko I don't think Naoko would refused.

I am not downing those who want a different version sailor moon or want it continued .I hope I am not being hostile.Just that this whole Naoko is the main reason sailor moon currently is this way and we would got something different is unfounded.
You're most likely right. I just don't think Toei has seen enough demand and Naoko probably just hasn't approached them about it. Crystal was probably an experiment to gauge interest and besides us hardcore fans, I don't think there was enough. I'm thankful we got Crystal finished at all.
I do want more, but like I've said before, I'd want Naoko to write out the basic concepts and characters and then let writers flesh it out with more freedom.

The debacle that was Crysternos aside, Cosmos DID show there's a way to beautifully animate the series to modern standards and still appeal to those of us for whom the OG anime was the inspiration for our fandom.

I just hope someone decides to do something in the future to that level. They need to up the music level though. The original series just oozed atmosphere with its BGM.

There could be more fan activity like the Toonmakers Remake.

Is it possible Sydney Deng has something cooking? He did make a bunch of character models and animates

Yeah, that guy is pretty interesting with his drawings. I think this is the dude who seemed a bit egotistical. I don't follow him or anything.

What would be interesting and challenging would be for him to come up with his own magical girl series and see how he can get it pitched.

He should give that a try too.

Perhaps much better if the third reboot is a Donghua made in China and designed by Sidney Deng.
I think her designs are incredible actually. Love them. Wish they looked like this from the very beginning actually and remained the same. The ever-changing designs were very jarring & frustrating for a reboot. I did love the designs the most for Eternal/Cosmos though. They were the best. I do love Sidney's though very much.
