Sailor Moon franchise could be a trendsetter once again! Just imagine the headlines: "Naoko and Toei refuse to follow trends! The next series will not be about Next Generation but dedicated to the Retiring Generation!"
They could appeal to different generations w/ different productions tuning specifically to them, respectively, just like what the Ultraman & Kamen Rider franchises have been doing. :)

To be honest, if there’s a sequel, I would prefer for there to be lower stakes so that the characters would get more time to breathe. For example, a lot of people loved the Ail & En arc in the original anime, despite them being not as huge threats as the Dark Kingdom.

That said, I think Kotono retiring as Usagi probably means there won’t be a sequel.
It would have been nice to see them again in the fifth season (90 anime).

Like ali & en : they come to warn Sailor Moon of a threat (Galaxia) and that they need her and theguardians but subsequently die from their injury or an attack from Galaxia or Animamate.

Because they make new characters but don't exploit them like the four Sisters, they come from the future, so she could be aware of certain things, too.

Afterwards we can have a sequel centered on Sailor Cosmos and recast the voice of Cosmos by an actress other than that of the film.
Afterwards we have to see the real choice of change, if it is not to prepare the Japanese fans to have a succession and we insert the succession now in the film, it is less abrupt than doing it afterwards.

I don’t know… I just hope this forum will be around forever

I would love to run the site if I was able to and if I could afford it. But hey a girl can dream, right? XD I met some of my best friends here.

Well, nothing can be forever. lol Just hope that it'll stay long enough for everyone. :)
I remember going to the doctor around 2012/13. I lived in Canada and had a mild cold. I accessed the old [THE HAPPY PLACE] forum… because I had to wait and there was nothing else to do. And, as I remember, the end of that day turned out to be a beautiful spring day. The weather changed and I remember seeing a big rainbow on my way back home.

Also the 12 days of Senshi-mas? I don’t remember, but it was a Christmas challenge and you had to complete little tasks… and I won something.

There was also a week in which we were allowed to literally post anything we wanted, go off topic and inundate the forum with gifs. And I kept posting cherry blossom petals falling… and I said I was using Clow Reed’s flowery card.

I also made the :kero: emoji. I resized an image of Kero-Chan and then later someone with better skills made him look like a proper emoji.

Lots of memories.

Ale, that could be one way to approach it. Though I think Sailor Moon is much easier to appeal to both older and younger audiences within a single show/project than live actions like Kamen

I hope Naoko Takeuchi and CLAMP do a continuation and anime adaptation of Miyuki Chan in Wonderland since some of her characters do appear in Miyuki Chan in Wonderland.

Hm… that is never going to happen.
The rest of Miyuki Chan might need Naoko's authorization to get animated...due to some of the characters being identical to her characters.

My personal feelings as someone who cherishes Naoko Takeuchi’s manga:

If a new manga arc is created and it does not come from Takeuchi, I would only accept it if is done by CLAMP.

I personally would not want any other mangaka to touch Takeuchi‘s creation, with the exception of CLAMP.

And I would love a CLAMP/Takeuchi collaboration.

Maybe Takeuchi could come up w/ her ideas, story framework, & character designs, & then let CLAMP execute it? :)

CLAMP partnered with Production I.G. to create a new “Blood: The Last Vampire” anime with CLAMP’s ideas. The result was Blood-C. Nanase Ohkawa wrote 12 episodes + a movie.

That was a different situation though. It was CLAMP partnering with an anime studio to create Blood-C anime (whose franchise seems to belong to that studio). Also, I should mention a manga was also created based on Blood-C anime, but CLAMP wasn't involved on that.

CLAMP is likely too big to create a manga with Naoko's ideas. Manga writers who make this aren't pretty known. For example: The manga writer of Blood-C manga.
