Who do you prefer to ship the Senshi with?

I am intensely curious to know which canon Sailor Moon ships these are if any?

Saphir with Ami would make sense but maybe way too similar. It would be hilarious if they ended up having a very extroverted child with the opposite personality to them.

Chibi Usa X Pegasus/Helios
Seiya X Usagi (not technically canon but definitely pushed as a thing)
Naru X Nephrite (also not official, but it's there)
Usagi X Mamoru (I don't hate this one, I just roll my eyes at it a lot. It's sweet...I just get sick of the heavy focus sometimes.)
Rei X Yuuichiro (I don't buy it)
Ami X Urawa (meh)

Ones I don't roll my eyes at:
Haruka x Michiru (at least before Stars...I admit I rolled my eyes a couple of times in Stars.)
Kenji X Ikuko (they are what they are. Nothing too flaky or cheesy, just a married couple being a married couple)
Luna X Artemis (the real Miracle Romance behind the scenes, at least eventually)
Naru X Umino (a bit one sided, but I root for it)
Kunzite X Zoisite (I can't think of many things I dislike about how it's portrayed, for the most part.)

Most others are side characters (Motoki and Reika), one sided (Minako and anyone, Fiore and Mamo) or just such a non-issue I don't care.

Saintfighteraqua Seiya/Usagi is not a official pairing in fact Sailor Stars showed how they never became official.

Honestly many unofficial pairings are more likely to work then Seiya/Usagi. They don't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting together.

I know, that's why I said they were pushed as one. Some fans treat it as gospel just because they had like one "date". It was such a one sided thing...like Rei with Mamoru in s1.
I hate Usagi and Seiya as a pairing and never saw it as possible. Even if Mamoru was truly gone, it was such an uncomfortable pairing.

I just roll my eyes at how poorly their relationship is portrayed in the 90’s anime, as well as the entire franchise treating their romance as this grand, destined, “Miracle Romance.”

Luna X Artemis (the real Miracle Romance behind the scenes, at least eventually)

Surprisingly enough, this is actually one of your non eye-roll enticing ships that makes it onto mine, I just find it too much of a “pair the spares” situation, like they’re clearly together cause they’re the only other talking cat around. Artemis has far better chemistry with Minako (don’t worry, I only ship them in his human form ya sickos lol) and Luna doesn’t even seem to like Artemis, like it’s like pulling teeth to get her to be into him, she’s always getting wandering eyes and exploring her other options such as Kakeru and Yaten.

Surprised the Sen/Shi didn’t make your list though, that’s like the ultimate canon eye-roll inducing ship in the Manga/Crystal lol.

I can't even imagine such a silly thing as ever being canon so I won't even include it in my thoughts or list, lol.

There is such little chemistry there in the manga or even in Crystal that except maybe in a musical or two it seems like the ultimate pair the spares.

I think I like Luna and Artemis because they do stick with one another in spite of being cats who are known to have a lot of partners in real life. They might bicker and disagree, but I think the few moments they get are sweet.
It's kind of funny the most action they get in romance is the SuperS intro sequence just before Diana "Chibi-Usa's" them by stopping the kiss.

I believe that has to do with her being a Pisces—and Naoko Takeuchi, too, is a Pisces.

People who are Pisces tend to be very introspective and calm, but they do act like a sponge and may absorb others’ feelings; when they suffocate and are no longer able to hold their emotions or anger for longer than they have… you can expect a tsunami.

Remember when Michiru is applying makeup in her mirror when Yaten walks by her in the manga, says she isn´t that good at it, and Haruka restrains her worried that she is just about to commit murder? I guess it might not be unusual for Haruka to restrain her in general but that time it would be very necessary.

I see Ami more with a civilian (whatshisname)

I see Rei more with a civilian

I see Lita more with a civilian or someone who also fights the good fight.

Uranus/Neptune of course I see together.

Hotaru/Setsuna I see alone. Hotaru being fine with it and not really longing for love while Setsuna yearns for it secretly.

They do look good together...but as long as Haruka exists, I doubt it would ever happen. But, I suppose if Michiru was ever going to leave Haruka it would be for a prince with issues and a name that literally translates to Diamond.
