Wasn’t it all the same studio in the end though?
Cloverway wasn't a studio, but a "middleman" company for anime distribution in the Americas.
They were like Toei's right hand in the USA before they had HQs there, and when DiC didn't show interest on S/SuperS, they took over the distribution and hired Optimum, a Canadian post-production company, to produce the Sailor Moon dub, just like both DiC (previous seasons) and Pioneer (movies) did before.
But Cloverway usually wasn't in charge of English dubs. This was usually provided by the NA anime license holders like FUNi with Dragon Ball. On the other hand, they produced the majority of Latin Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese dubs for Toei products until like 2007, when Toei themselves opened headquarters in Latin America. They usually hired studios in Mexico and Brazil for the task.
I know, it's confusing. For some reason, Bandai's local representatives (!) produced the early Brazilian dubs of Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon before Cloverway also took charge of distribution in Brazil.

I think the best-case scenario for Sailor Moon is for it to pull a bleach...have the adaptation of Sailor Stars actually materialize in the next decade.

I think Tite Kubo learned from Takeuchi in some way.

I look forward to seeing reactions to that Bleach anime since most of those hyped for it now were crapping on the manga for a long time back when it was still going and it got especially bad with the last arc and also in the epilogue when their favorite pairings didn't happen.

This is simply due to Japan’s more lenient rating system in comparison to the West’s. In Japan kids are expected to mature faster and parents don’t baby/coddle them nearly as much, by first grade they’re already assigned individual classroom chores.
You are right. But IDK whether IMDB is dumb or not AOT is rated R-15 in Japan: Attack on Titan (TV Series 2013–2022) - Parents Guide - IMDb (Can you check it and teel whether it is correct or not, since you said that they got PMMM rating wrong)

I think Naoko did not like the final plot of the anime Stars initially since they discarded the plot which was based on her original plans for the manga which is why she rushed the plot of the manga Stars and discarded her original plans but eventually she was able to like the anime plot when it was aired already but was still against the changes.
