Reading this thread reminds me of the first "fanfic" I wrote which was based on SM. Story was more like a summary of the first season and wasn't a story at all. Usagi whined a lot in it, haha. First season had just aired, I believe. Ah, good times.

I did give up on one its based around Sailor starts when Usagi beat Galaxia and she left to guide the star seeds. Usagi said she was all alone. I though what if they didn't appear like they did. What if due to her deep depression Usagi seal her self away engulf in her pain and despair that formed a new evil and the only way to stop it is to seek out the star seeds of the sailor senshi. The burden falls upon princess Kakyuu and the sailor stars to seeks out the sailors star seeds along with Earth Princes to save the world once again

Now that I think about it, I did have lots of fanfic ideas.
The main problem was more like : "But.. I wonder if anyone will actually read the whole story?"

Unless you have friends who are also interested in fan-made creations, you don't really want to write something which won't, likely, be checked by people.
A story is something to tell so it sounds pretty useless if you don't have any audience, and the more you grow up the less you find it  .

No, that's still a fanfic. It's a re-imagining. :)

I actually wrote a "novelization" of The Past Returns once. Maybe one day I'll find it and link to it.

That's a unique and plausible what if plotline that could encompass a multitude of chapters.

I agree with this as well, which is another reason why I've quit just about everything. (This is a big part of why I'm not in favor of a new dub, because all my ideas are more compatible with the ambiguities of the old NA version and not the Japanese anime.) It seems like there's a crucial window for you to write your fiction. Some people write fanfic at just the right time and not only get feedback, but become pillars of the fan community for years. Others write fanfic later and are ignored. A lack of an audience can kill one's drive.

I'm half tempted to dump the ultra-long summary of my one fanfic "universe" in this thread...but it's very long.

Ironic that I wrote a semi-novelization which isn't my favorite kind of fic to read. :mischief: When I think of fics I think of original ideas and not re-tellings. Not that novelizations can't be good, but if I already know the source it's like I'm reading it again. Originals are a lot more fun to write.

I can understand that. The problem with is that while original ideas are more fun to write (I threw Morlocks from GvsE into my Sailor Moon universe just for fun)...to many readers they are actually harder to swallow. After all, when you're reading fanfic, you are reading someone else's interpretation of the story you watched. Fanfic readers are generally drawn to the fanfic due to liking the base source.

Long time ago, I had an idea of having all of the Sailor Senshi combat against a greater evil than Chaos was and become allies with their alternate dimension counterparts. P-:

In fact, I wrote one chapter of it and it was an prologue. I left and abandoned like anything else I have. :o

I hear you. I wrote three chapters of a fourteen story arc in a fanfic that would literally be over one hundred chapters if I even bothered to write it. I kid you not, as below is just the backstory...from the Moon Kindgom end. And yes, this is part of the same universe as that of the Queen Gaia backstory I wrote (this is one complicated fan-universe). Some of this is copied and pasted from the Hyperion bio in this thread.

It really begins with two opposing forces of equal strength called Order and Chaos. The two forces clashed, have clashed, and always will clash in an eternal stalemate. However, due to our limits of language and conception, I must approach this as if it were in the past. At some point in time the space of what we call existence, the Time-Plane, the cosmos, life as we both know it and don't -- that was a nasty little side effect of their fight. Unlike the near absolutes of Order and Chaos, it is a small thing compared to them, easily overlooked. However, Order and Chaos both took notice, for it was the only territory claimed by neither. Since Order and Chaos were equally matched, they mutually decided that this artifact of dimension and time would serve as their battlefield. If either one took absolute control of even one strand of this "existence," then that party would rule everything.

Let's flash to a very, very minuscule point in space, in a minuscule point of time, in a minuscule thread of a universe....

A long time ago, before the Moon Kingdom or any kingdom of any sort, Hyperion, a god, was the benevolent ruler of the children of Earth. He was an avatar of Order seeking to expand its influence. He would circle the skies, riding on the Great Dragon, looking over his vast realm. There was no evil, no night, no darkness whatsoever--only peace and harmony. Hyperion was the source of all light, brighter than his son, Helios (the sun), his daughter, Selene (the moon), or any of their attendants (the stars). The humans worshiped him wholeheartedly, and in return he made sure they lived full and happy lives. It was paradise, but unfortunately, paradise didn't last forever.

One day, Helios asked Hyperion if he and his sister Selene could ride the Great Dragon. Hyperion allowed them to do so but warned them that they must hold the reins to the dragon tightly or else it would fly away to a place beyond his reach. They agreed and started to rid the beast, and the two enjoyed themselves immensely. Alas, the inevitable happened and the dragon broke free of Helios' control, throwing off the reins in the process. The dragon flew away and the powerful reins fell to the Earth. Selene and Helios both returned to their father with tears in their eyes. Though he scolded them, Hyperion forgave his children and embraced them. None of the three had any idea of the turmoil that was to happen.

A man picked up the reins that had fallen to Earth and immediately became infused with power. At first this was seen as a blessing, and the humans were thankful for this gift. But soon, some became jealous of this man, and plotted against him, while others poured their strength and will into him instead of Hyperion. Through their devotion this man grew powerful, too powerful and started to lust for even more power, and soon fell into Chaos's sway. He fed off not only his followers' praises, but the new, negative emotions and energy of the people of Earth as well to gain even more power. Finally, he challenged Hyperion in a battle that would forever change the nature of the universe. With Helios and Selene by Hyperion's side, he was able to subdue the Darkness of the evil man, but he could not defeat him completely. The Darkness was driven to the corners of the Earth along with the man who wielded its power.

The battle had cost Hyperion his very power and soon he began to fade away. Before he vanished he instructed Helios and Selene to patrol the Earth, and not to let darkness overwhelm it. Each decided to watch over the Earth when the other one rested, and when Helios was in the sky the earth was light. Under Selene's watch, though, night flourished, and the powers of darkness prevailed. Hyperion's name became a mere myth, forgotten in the sea of time.

Eventually Selene and her attendants bore many descendants as the Earth had borne children for Hyperion to rule over. Like the children of Earth, they struggled with wars and until a leader by the name of Diana stepped forward to take over the Moon. Extremely powerful, she was challenged by none, as she was rumored to be immortal and unstoppable. Yet she was as wise as she was powerful, and she founded the Moon Kingdom. Out of the turmoil, she established order (little "o") in the form of a society based on nobility headed by a Queen. Though for the first years the stratified society seemed doomed, eventually conditions improved on all to the point where the peasant and the noble man were equally cared for, if without equal say. She lived for several centuries, though as with Hyperion, her name was forgotten. Upon her death, her body disappeared, leaving only a shining, clear crystal which was said to contain her essence.

Her daughter, Selene became the second queen of the moon, and although she was nowhere near the power level of her mother, she inherited her wisdom and her longevity. She moved beyond her mother's boundaries of the Moon and decided to form an alliance with the neighboring planets. Earth had refused to join this alliance, fearing the Moon would try to impose its matriarchy there, but the other planets in the solar system happily accepted the offer. Thus the Moon Kingdom was born.

However, such an alliance needed a defense greater than machines and armies could provide. Technology had its limits, but the mysterious power of the heart held infinite potential. Selene called the greatest magicians from each planet in the Moon Kingdom and had them come to the Moon. Once there, they and Selene came together and pooled their energy together. They created seeds of power, strange orbs of energy that would enhance the natural abilities of a person. There were ten in all, but each seed would only react with one woman from each planet. The magicians sought out women who the were worthy to receive the seed, and brought the woman near the seed and waited for the seed merge with her, unlocking the hidden potential. If it didn't then the magicians moved on until they found someone who was compatible with the seed. Eventually, eight of the ten seeds produced a result, and these women defended the planets for as long they were able to. When they grew old or tired of carrying the power, they passed their power onto another, younger person of worth from the same planet.

However, two of those seeds of power hadn't reacted with anyone. One of those seeds was obviously for the Moon, but it reacted not even with the purest of hearts. This seed was special and would only react with a Lunarian when a danger more powerful than the other defenders could bear arrived. (The other seed wasn't meant for anyone in the Moon Kingdom, but would reveal its purpose and power when the time was right.) It also differed from the other seeds in that it passed from mother to her eldest daughter. This was the seed that would activate the warrior known as Sailor Moon. This seed was the one that Selene poured most of her energy into, one that is said to have shortened both the life spans of her and her descendants.

But Selene did not live as long her predecessor, so she was unable to see the end result of her plans. Nevertheless, she surpassed her mother in one area, having not one but two daughters to give her love to, the elder, dark-haired Luna and the far younger, fair-haired Artemis (who got left in the background, as many siblings of important people often do).

Though Luna ascended to the throne without much difficulty, once there she found herself inextricably entangled in quite a love triangle. On one hand the Demetrites sent a representative, Fian, to seek an alliance with the Moon Kingdom. Both Fian and Luna got involved in a romantic relationship, and surprisingly enough, many of the Lunarian upper class were highly supportive of this union, if at least to enhance the Moon Kingdom's power. However, there was a second man who Luna come to love, a common Lunarian by the name of Warren. Her heart was set between two men, both whom she loved and loved her in different ways. With Fian she felt the heights and valleys of passion, with Warren, she felt the secure companionship and commitment. Luna chose Warren, a choice she never regretted, but gave Fian a goodbye present, one of the seeds of power.

Time passed and a prophecy was delivered. It was foretold that both Luna and her husband Warren would live long and happy lives, but that their child would inherit all of the grief they had been spared from. Their daughter would have three great loves, only to lose each one prematurely, and after the loss of the third she herself would die shortly afterward. Upon hearing this the couple were stunned, but when months, years, and decades passed after the prophecy, the oracle's words had been dismissed and forgotten.

Then, long after Luna was of childbearing age, she miraculously gave birth to a beautiful daughter, and the prophecy once again came to Luna and Warren's attention. In hoping to avert their child's dismal fate they named her Serenity, in the hopes that she would live up to her appellation. They also vowed never to tell their daughter of the prophecy, thinking that if she didn't know the path laid out for her, she might be able to chose her own fate.

For two years, the family basked in its joy, and it appeared that Serenity would cheat the hands of fate. But death soon claimed the princess's father, as Warren already had more than his share of years. Though Serenity barely got the chance to know her father before his old age caught up with him, his death was the first of many who were close to the future queen of the Moon.

Despite growing up without a father figure, Serenity's childhood was perhaps the happiest time in her life. Luna loved Serenity with all her heart, and the daughter returned that love in spades. But as all good things must come to an end, so it was with Luna and Serenity, for their time together was limited. Slowly but surely, Luna's health started to fade for some unknown reason. The best healers and doctors could neither heal her nor stop the degenerative process of this malady (though they suspected it was poison, there were no foreign toxins in her system, just her own body chemicals poisoning her). Luna died, but not before telling Serenity to be a strong ruler for her. Thus Serenity lost her first great love and had to begin ruling the entire kingdom at the young age of fourteen.

Luna's death hung over Serenity like a dark cloud for the next couple of years and while she maintained a straight face while in public, in private she became very depressed. Princess Artemis, her aunt, advised her and tried to lift her spirits, but Serenity felt as if she had no hope. In fact, if it weren't for Rocco, Serenity's personal bodyguard, she would not have had the strength to make it through this trying time. Rocco, a Martian, was only a few years older than her and quickly became her best friend and confidant.

Another turning point in Serenity's life came two years after her mother's death. It was sent from a Tottamo, a prince in another universe. A correspondence begun between the two, first starting out as serious, official missives, then transformed over time to letters of love. For three years they went on this way, but Serenity wanted to meet the man behind the letters. At last he arranged to visit her, hoping to complete their romance. Unfortunately, evil forces learned of her sudden departure from the moon and attempted to destroy the Lunarian queen. Instead, it was Tottamo who lost his life, and Serenity had her second great love ripped from her. Through this incident, Serenity heard of the Negaverse for the first time.

Serenity took precautionary measures, such as training the defenders of the other planets in the Moon Kingdom (who are not yet the princesses of the planets in the Moon Kingdom) and focusing even more on mastering the Silver Imperium Crystal, a powerful object that only the royalty could use to its fullest potential. But after a while, the Negaverse had made no moves to advance against the Moon Kingdom, and everyone's lives began to return to normal. Even Serenity seemed to be finding happiness once more through a young man named Lunaris. The two married each other before truly knowing each other and even had a daughter, whom they also named Serenity in honor of her mother. Both too soon and too late they realized that neither loved the other like a husband and wife should. But before the two could part and go their separate ways, Lunaris was killed when a shuttlecraft explodes-- on the same one Serenity herself was going to ride before Lunaris stopped her and inadvertently saved her life. Though she did not love him strongly, she mourned his death nonetheless.

Serenity's third and final true love, was her daughter, Princess Serenity, given the nickname Serena to differentiate between mother and daughter. Serenity devoted all her energy and love to make sure her daughter doesn't lead the same grief filled life she had.

A year before the Negaverse attacked the Moon Kingdom, one of the magicians approached Serenity. He told her that her daughter, was compatible with the seed for Sailor Moon. Serenity refused to let the magician awaken Serena's hidden power. She knew that if Serena became Sailor Moon, not only would there be the possibility of losing her daughter, but Serena could suffer even deeper heartaches than Serenity had by being both a fighter and a princess. Serenity wanted to protect her daughter at all costs, even at the sacrifice of the Moon Kingdom.

At the same time Serenity could not, nor did she attempt to, stop Serena from falling in love with Prince Darien of the Earth. Though Serenity trusted the Terran prince, she also worried that her daughter could have eventually lost him as she lost Tottamo.

A few months before the Negaverse invaded the Moon Kingdom, a young Lunarian about Serena's age led a group of men in a rebellion against Queen Serenity. Serenity easily defeated Mona, the renegade, and placed her in a cell where all of her powers were disabled. But she made the mistake of letting her daughter and her friends tour the area that she was held captive, and their mocking words further angered Mona, and she silently vowed she would have her revenge.

Finally, the fateful day arrived, and the entire Negaverse attacked the peaceful Moon Kingdom. Serenity herself was able to defeat the Seven Shadows, the most powerful warriors of the Negaverse, but that was the only considerable damage done by the side of good. The planetary defenders, now known as the Sailor Scouts, fought their hardest but in the end it was all in vain as the dark power overwhelmed them. Both fighters and civilians were killed in its wake, and Serenity could not bear the slaughter. When Queen Beryl, the leader of the Negaverse, struck down both Serena and her lover, something inside Serenity snapped. All at once she recalled the deaths of those who had become close to her. First, her mother, then her beloved, and now her daughter, all dead before her eyes. Now she knew what she had to do, to not only defeat the enemy, but to save all of those who had unjustly lost their lives that day.

Placing the Silver Imperium Crystal in the Crescent Moon Wand, she gathered all her energy and channeled it through the Crystal, shouting, "Cosmic Moon Power!" Though the strain on her body was great, she cared not for her own life anymore. She trapped both the souls of the good and evil. She sent all the warriors of the Negaverse to another dimension and all those who were dead, to the Earth. Then she split up the Crystal to seal the power of Shadow Warriors, and sent them to Earth as well, leaving both the Crystal and the seven best warriors of the Negaverse out of the villains' reach. Finally, she gave Luna and Artemis, her two cat advisors, instructions to revive the Sailor Scouts if evil should ever threaten Earth. Her dying body exhausted from all of this, she dropped the Crescent Moon Wand, which trapped the felines inside two stasis containers with everything they would need to carry out their mission. The capsules magically floated to Earth along with the souls, and at last, Serenity's purpose in life was complete. With a final breath she passed away, the prophecy fulfilled.

But that was not the end of the tale, but merely the beginning...

If you made it through all that, here's a treat for you.

I once had the spark of an idea of Sailor Moon getting brainwashed by the Dark Moon/Nemesis Clan (or bad guys in general) in a manner similiar to that of Chibiusa.

It never got beyond the state of a very rough one-panel sketch, though...

I think a lot of fans had ideas of what if Sailor Moon turned evil, as it would be interesting to see what it would be like for the hero of the series to go bad. In mine, Sailor Moon goes evil in a different way, though, as she's essentially possessed by another entity that seeks to merge with her, Venom-style.

Here's another snippet from my discarded fan universe.

The Negaverse

Parallel to the dimension we know as our own is another realm known as the Negaverse. It is a realm under the control of the Negaforce, a mysterious entity of negative energy. The Negaverse is linked to the existence of our own. It is not another universe or timeline, but it is one of many realms that make up our universe.

Since it is an alternate "dimension" there are planets and kingdoms that correspond to our own. That is not counting the various demon realms which are allied with the Negaverse.

Queen Quartz was the ruling monarch of this realm until, as in the fashion of all Negaverse queens before her, she was killed, and Queen Beryl took her place. Ambitious even by the standards of the Negaverse, Queen Beryl wanted to take control of our dimension, starting with the Moon Kingdom.

A trio of assassins called the Samsonettes proved vital to the rise of this queen. Evelyn, sister of the general Malachite, had the ability to manifest and shoot arrows, but was filled with greed and ambitions. Demonica, Beryl's cousin, was a mad woman who itched to kill and to hurt for the sake of causing pain and manifested energy knives in the same fashion as her mentor (and unrequited crush) Malachite. Rational, stoic Ersatz, a mere human from our world, held these two together, and she made up for her lack of natural ability with the use of technology to replicate the natural abilities of those who originated from the Negaverse. Despite their differences, as a unit, they were nearly unstoppable when deployed.

Unfortunately, when idle, they were stoppable. Demonica and Evelyn engaged each other in a brawl inside a Negaverse laboratory, resulting in an explosion. Both of the assassins bodies were destroyed. However, Evelyn's consciousness survived disembodied, while Demonica was thrown into the body of a Lunarian. Ersatz, having arrived too late to stop her partners from killing each other, carried on a successful solo assassination career until she died in an attempt to take the young Queen Serenity's life.

The loss of the trio merely delayed rather than completely deterred Queen Beryl, and she attacked the Moon Kingdom only for Queen Serenity to seal her back to the Negaverse with the Imperium Silver Crystal. The rest is history.

Yeah, now all that was just the backstory to my "main" fanfic universe. Below are summaries of the actual fanfic which was supposed to take place between Sailor Moon R and Sailor Moon S. I actually completed about four of the thirteen or fourteen stories I had planned on writing (and these are linked to in the section below), but given that it had taken me four years to get to that point, I gave up on my stories almost a decade ago. It's a good thing, too, because looking back on it, my original characters were all terrible Mary Sues. Please bear in mind, though, that a good 80-90% if this was thought up in 1997, when Sailor Moon was announced to air on the USA Networks.

Oh, well, here goes nothing. I'm willing to bet money no one can make it through these summaries.

Dark Side of the Moon

Lisa Wood was a studious girl in the same class as Serena and the others who attended Crossroads Junior High School. Shy and quiet, she remained aloof from others, in part due to her appearance -- a large birthmark which covered a portion of her face. She also saw Amy as an academic rival.

One night she attended a party Amy invited her to, and she was humiliated after falling on the dance floor. That night a voice began to speak to her. Soon, the voice revealed to Lisa that she had the ability to create monsters.

Lisa sent monsters to attack Amy, then Serena. She not only eventually discovered that they were the Sailor Scouts, but that she shared a past life with them. In the Moon Kingdom, she was Mona, a young woman who led a group of men in a failed rebellion against Serenity. The voice offered to merge with her to increase her power, and she accepted.

Now completely possessed by the voice, Lisa reveals herself as Mona to the scouts, then changes into a new uniform, calling herself Evelyn. attacks the Sailor Scout by absorbing their attacks and firing arrows of energy made from the energy of the attacks. She nearly beat the Sailor scouts until Sailor Moon began to heal her enemy. Evelyn proclaims she can absorb any attack, but after absorbing the healing, it separated Lisa from Evelyn and Lisa was purged, but retained the memory of what she had done while possessed.

True Terran

Janet Vaughn was an incredibly wealthy woman who believed the Earth had been "adulterated" by alien presences. She cited the mysterious disappearances of Maxfield Stanton, and of Alan and Ann Granger, combined with the increasing number of monster attacks as proof that extraterrestrials were on Earth and abducting humans. But that's not all-- she saw the Scouts as humanity's number one threat.

She used a device to measure the energy levels of people. Those with extremely high levels of energy she attacked, knowing that those were the Sailor Scouts(and Tuxedo Mask!). It didn't take long for her to find out their identities. The Scouts engaged her and her cronies in battle several times, each time the Scouts narrowly escaped with their lives. The irony in her quest is that Janet herself wasn't human. Unknown to her was the fact that she was a hybrid--half Mercurian/half Saturnian, and during the Silver Millennium, she was Princess Mercury's best friend. This caused a reluctance in Mercury's part to fight this woman, even though she was relentless in her attacks.

In the final showdown between Janet and the Sailor Scouts, the Scouts nearly fell victim to one of Janet's traps, but the Scouts triumphed once again. This so enraged Janet that a symbol appears on her head, a symbol that was a combination of the signs of Mercury and Saturn. In her anger she fired a blast of water at them and realized what she is. She couldn't deal with the fact that she wasn't a human and tried to kill herself, but Sailor Moon offered to erase her memories of the past few weeks using her crystal. Janet agreed to this and was healed, losing all of the negative emotions that caused her to attack the Scouts in the first place, but also losing the memory of who she once was.

Night of the Selenians

A comatose, brain-dead woman reclined in a hospital bed with her husband by her side. He loved her so much that he could not let her mindless body go; he waited until the day she awakened from her coma. Suddenly, her eyes fluttered open and the woman regained consciousness, but seemingly her memory was gone. Unbeknownst to him, the woman had not returned to life, but her body was taken over by the entity Evelyn. After her last defeat, Evelyn wasn't destroyed; she was merely driven out of Lisa. She vowed revenge on the Sailor Scouts and decided to implement the perfect plan to elimiate her enemies and take over Earth. She would reunite the warriors who helped her during the rebellion, the Selenians, and destroy the Sailor Scouts.

Meanwhile, Serena and Darien's relationship blossomed, causing Raye, Amy, and Lita to feel a little jealous. Mina, though, was dejected not only because she didn't have a boyfriend, but because she didn't feel she was making a contribution to the team. She speculated whether she leave the scouts and going solo again, but Artemis cheered her up. He assured her that she was a Sailor Scout, no matter what happens, and the team wouldn't be the same without her.

One day, as Mina was walking home from school, she saw a girl who had been cornered by a pack of dogs. Before she could turn into Sailor Venus, a mysterious man entered the scene. He merely looked at the dogs, who turned around to face him, then ran away. The girl thanked the man and the man happened to see Mina. The man introduced himself to her as Cain Rand and upon meeting each other, the two instantly fell in love.

At the same time, Evelyn was not going to let the Scouts interfere while she put her plan into motion. She no longer had Lisa's psychokinetic projection abilities, but she had gained a new power. She could summon restless spirits to the inhabit the bodies of normal people. The possessed would attack the Sailor Scouts, keeping them busy long enough for Evelyn to unify the Selenians. As the Scouts were busy healing the posses ed, Evelyn was gaining strength and informing every Selenian she could find. At the given time, they were to rendezvous at a certain point and begin their conquest of planet.

The Scouts as a team were beginning to have their difficulties, because Mina was beginning to neglect her duties as she was head over heels in love. Her attacks weren't as powerful as they were before, because her heart wasn't into fighting and her head was in the clouds. Worse yet, for one battle she didn't even show up until after Sailor Moon had healed the possessed man. Where was she? Taking a walk in Fairview Park with Cain. What neither she nor did any of the Scouts know that Cain was a Selenian. Nor did he know that Mina was actually Sailor Venus, but that was about to change.

Eventually, through several attempts to find out Evelyn's plan, Lisa received a flash of an image. It was of the full moon and Lisa understood its significance at once. She told the Scouts (except Mina, who wasn't there) that Evelyn was going to organize and unleash the Selenians. The Scouts didn't know who they were, but Luna and Lisa informed them that the Selenians were Mona's followers during the rebellion. Serenity banished them to Earth as punishment, where they desired revenge against her. Evelyn used this opportunity to give them the power to annihilate the people of Earth. Using the power of a witch, she placed them under a spell. Whenever the light of the moon was at its peak, the Selenian would transform into monstrous beasts. They would pass the onto any man they bit and to their sons. But their weakness, the rose, was discovered and they were defeated until there were only a few left. Evelyn deserted them, knowing that as long as she remained alive the curse would still have a hold on them. When asked how one could tell a Selenian from a normal person, Lisa replied that a Selenian had the mark on an animal bite on a part of his body. They remembered Cain had an animal bite on his arm and made the connection.

Mina had just left Cain's house when her communicator alarmed, which she answered. Serena told her that Cain was a monster but Mina refused to believe it. She also told her where to rendezvous as they have found Evelyn's location and signed off. Mina reached for her transformation stick but it wasn't the. Not long after she was aware of what happened; she left it at Cain's house and had to go back there to get it. By the time she got there the sun had just set, but the moon had not yet risen.

Mina entered the house after finding the door was unlocked. She closed and locked it behind her and called Cain's name. He doesn't respond, and she assumed he has left for the night. As she looked for her wand, she heard Cain say that she wouldn't find what she was looking in there. Mina and in the direction of the voice and found Cain in the kitchen, leaning upon the rim of the sink and doubled over. Then she saw him clutch her stick in his hand. He then said he was sorry it had to end this way and began to transform. In Cain's place stood a savage, wolf-like beast who throws Mina her wand.

Mina transformed into Sailor Venus and uses her Love Chain, but it didn't work. Cain bit her in the leg as she made an effort to elude him, and waited for her to transform. She didn't so he caught her, grabbed her by the neck and pinned her against the wall, ready to kill her. Venus pleaded with Cain to stop, that this wasn't what he wanted. He hesitated, then released her.

At the same time the other scouts were having their difficulties against the Selenians. They thought they had cornered Evelyn and that she only had a few Selenians behind her. They didn't know until it was too late that she had an army of Selenians who supported her. Worse yet the Scouts powers were ineffective against the Selenians. Just when it looked as if the Sailor Scouts were going to lose, Sailor Venus arrived...with Cain! The two of them convinced the Selenians that Evelyn was the true enemy, and her own Selenians turn on her. Venus attacked her, but Evelyn absorbs the energy from the chain. Sailor Moon tried to heal the body Evelyn wore again, but Evelyn took in the energy from that as well. She then created another bow and several arrows and fired a dust arrow on her enemies. Finally, the Scouts used their Sailor Planet Power to destroy the bow. After this Cain leapt into the air and tackled Evelyn, his claws at Evelyn's throat. She told him that she could never be destroyed and that the curse would never be broken before fleeing from the body. Without machines or a soul to empower her, the lifeless shell collapsed.

Afterward, Sailor Moon asked Venus what happened to her leg. When she told Moon, Mercury remembered Lisa's words and answered that the curse passed from man to man. Women were immune. Mercury also suggested that Sailor Moon use her Crystal to heal the Selenians, and she tried, but it was of no use. Venus turned to Cain and vowed that Evelyn would be destroyed. And the moon looked over them all indiscriminately.

Episode 1 -- One if by Land, Two if by Air

The Sailor Scouts, along with Tuxedo Mask, Luna and Artemis, were fighting a creature that seemed to be impervious to all of the Sailor Scouts' attacks. Finally, the Scouts found a weak spot and nearly defeated the creature, but sensing its own death, it released all of the damage it had taken in an energy wave that killed the heroes. The Imperium Silver Crystal, a sentient being, did the only thing it could, which was to take the souls of the Scouts into it until their life energy could be restored. Everyone was revived and teleported to their homes, but without their memories* as heroes (the cats couldn't talk in addition to this).

A group of five, calling themselves Los Malvados, Jessica, the summoner of this creature was drained of much of her energy, and Aaron, another member of this crew, said that his power needed a fresh source in order for them to take over the city. The leader, Mammon, replied the night would give them new vitality and without the Sailor Scouts to intervene, they could not fail.

At school, Molly noticed something was different about Serena and Amy and Lita. Neither of the spoke with each other, even though just yesterday. When she talked to Serena about it, the blonde replied that she didn't know the other girls. She also gave Molly her brooch after she decided she didn't need it anymore. Molly at first refused, but at Serena's insistence took the broach, not realizing its potential. Melvin commented on Molly's new broach and asked if she was going to wear it on their date that night. Molly told him to keep his voice down, then answered yes.

As the sun set, Los Malvados put their plan in motion. Cecilia, a ghost, possesses a woman at a pizzeria. This act gives the woman a wide range of powers and causing her to run amok. Meanwhile, Molly and Melvin are at the same establishment. Molly and Melvin ran, until they noticed the woman going after Brandi, one of their schoolmates. Molly got mad and drew the woman's attention away from Brandi, causing the woman to set her sights on her. She fired a bolt of energy at Molly. Melvin pushed Molly out of the way, but without warning, the crystal in Molly's broach grew brightly, mesmerizing the duo, and they vanished.

The two of them found themselves floating in an eerie, unearthly mist. The Crystal appeared in front of them and explained that it needed the two of them to help, and they agreed. From that moment, Molly's clothes began to change and she could feel a new power flowing through her. She was wearing a uniform similar to that of a Sailor Sc0ut, and the Crystal told her that she would now be known as Terra with command over the power of Earth. Melvin's outfit also changed into a light blue suit, and the Crystal gave him the power of Wind, dubbing him Aero. As a final touch, masks appeared over both of their eyes, and the Crystal sent the two of them back to the area where they came from.

The possessed woman was still looking for the duo when Terra and Aero came upon the scene. Using their new powers, they drove Cecilia from the woman's body. After the battle, they wondered what had happened. At the same time, Pamela said to Los Malvados, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a problem."

*This doesn't mean that they forgot everything since they became Sailor Scouts. This means that they acted as if they'd never been Sailor Scouts and forgot the things and people they would have met if they'd never been Scouts. For instance, Amy wouldn't know Serena as a friend since they would have never met if neither had been Sailor Scouts. They would still retain any knowledge they learned from school in that time period, though.

Episode 2 -- Concerting Disaster

Molly and Melvin were given information by Queen Serenity via the Crystal. The Sailor Scouts were once again ordinary girls, but the essence of who they were remained within the crystal. Until the Crystal recovered enough to put the essences back, Molly and Melvin were to defend the Crystal.

Molly and Melvin decided to preemptively determine where the next attack would be. They assumed that the jazz concert with famed musician Artemisia (reincarnated Princess Artemis). Their assumptions are correct as, Jessica, the summoning witch, stepped forward to make a strike in the name of Los Malvados.

At the same time, Lisa was having dreams of her former life on the Moon Kingdom. Her mother, having gotten an extra ticket, begged Lisa to the Artemisia concert with her, and Lisa agreed.

At the concert, Artemisia was attacked. Molly and Melvin automatically changed into Terra and Aero, but in spite of this, they are not able to defeat both Jessica and her summoned monster. The Silver Crystal awakened Lisa's powers and she changed into Mona, and now she sported a mask. With Mona's help, Terra and Aero destroyed the monster, while Jessica used an invisibility spell to escape.

Episode 3 -- Aquamarine

Lisa met up with Molly and Melvin, and all three recounted their pasts.
The Crystal informed them there was one more person who could be awakened, but that it must be a person who had their powers sealed away by the Crystal.

Jessica was worn out by the strain of the previous night's ordeals. Aaron had disappeared and Cecilia was still recovering from the first night's events. Elizabeth convinced Jessica to summon a creature to help Liz, and Jessica collapsed into unconsciousness upon performing the deed. Elizabeth remarked to herself that the teenaged girl's soul would be very valuable...someday.

Birdie noticed that Amy has not met with her for chess lately and came across Lisa. The two of them awkwardly met. Lisa later learned that she had just come across a former enemy.

Janet saw that wrestling has come to town and decides to attend the show. Lisa, Molly, and Melvin also decided to go to the event, thinking it to be the next target. Unfortunately, they didn't have tickets and sneak backstage to determine if the enemies had arrived. The head of security (reincarnated Rocco) proved to be a stumbling block, but they are able to get around him.

During the a match, the monster Jessica summoned attacked the performers and the crowd. Security was brought to a standstill and the people were trapped inside the facility. Elizabeth, who accompanied the monster, informed the audience that their lives would be spared if they sign over their souls. The Defenders confronted her, but she withstood their attacks easily. Elizabeth remarked she wished Aaron were around to see their victory.

Several former bad guys are in the crowd (Four Sisters, Game Machine Joe, etc), but the crystal reaches to out to Janet, who agrees to accept the memories and her powers. She heals the others with her healing water, then blasts the monster and Elizabeth with water. The monster is destroyed, and Elizabeth flees.

Elsewhere, two guys, Michael and Mark, were walking home after a party. Aaron encountered them. He cast Mark aside and attacked Michael, biting him on the neck. Mark recovered and struck the stranger, who turned to dust when he fell to the ground. Meanwhile, Michael began to feel strange and grew pale after the bite. When his friend asked him what was wrong, Michael grabbed him by the arm, absorbing his life-energy. Mark collapsed and fell into a coma. Michael, stunned by what he had done, fled the scene.

Episode 4 -- Is Friendship Thicker than Water?

Janet was giving Lisa the grand tour of her house one Tuesday afternoon. Lisa was astonished at the size of the mansion and became even more surprised once Janet showed her their destination -- the spacious game room filled with arcade machines old and new. Janet asked Lisa if she wanted to play a game of Sailor Fighter (the Sailor Moon universe's equivalent to Street Fighter) and soon the two were having fun, and ended up playing into the early evening hours. The two remarked that they had more fun in those short hours than they'd experienced in their entire lives. They parted for the day, but a strong friendship was developing between the two young ladies.

The next day at school, Lisa noticed that something was troubling Amy but she wouldn't talk about it. After school she mentioned this to Janet, who was giving her a ride to the library. Janet dropped Lisa off, but immediately spotted Amy doing something unusual-- walking past the library without even looking up. Being Mercury's former best friend, Janet decided to follow her and investigate. She shadowed Amy as she got on the bus, but Janet was cut off in traffic, causing her to momentarily lose her focus and yell insults at the driver. Since she knew where the bus was headed, she decided to take an alternative route. A short time later she saw a handsome young man going in the opposite direction. Instantly she was bitten by the love bug and started to tail the gentleman instead of Amy.

Meanwhile Lisa was in the library, looking up information for a research paper. She picked up her pile of books and began to carry them to the front desk in order to check them out of the library. Suddenly, out of nowhere a force knocked her down. A young man helped her with her books and apologized for what he had done. After one look at him, Lisa became momentarily speechless, but found her tongue in time to thank him. She asked the lady at the desk about him, and she told her his name was Michael and informed her that he had come to the library about every day for the past two weeks. Lisa left, the gears in her head turning to formulate a plan.

While Janet drove to Lisa's house, the younger passenger informed her that she'd have to go back to the library the next day to continue getting more reference materials. Janet saw through this lie, but decided to milk the situation for all it was worth and agreed to give Lisa a ride to the library with one condition: Janet would help Lisa with her "research." Reluctantly, Lisa agreed and the next day, both Janet and Lisa were in the library, with the former keeping a close eye on the latter. Michael walked in and Lisa tried to make her way over to him, but Janet tripped her and began making conversation with him. More enraged at the idea that her best friend was hitting on a potential boyfriend than the trip itself, Lisa lunged at Janet, resulting in a fight that Janet won quite handily. Unfortunately for the two of them, they were both banned from the library for disrupting the peace. An angry Janet left Lisa to find her own way home in the rain, and without an umbrella.

The next day at school, Lisa's mind wasn't on her schoolwork. Despite how hard she tried to concentrate, all she could think about was how she had made herself look like a fool in front Michael. At lunch, Amy approached her and decided it would be best if the two of them talked about their problems. During the conversation Lisa found out the reason for Amy's mood -- two days ago was the anniversary of her brother's death. Lisa was stunned by the news and chided herself for being so selfish. She and Amy became closer to each other than even before, and both promised to tell the other if something was bothering one of them.

At sunset outside the library, Janet saw Michael leaving the building and asked him on a date. He said he didn't do dinner dates so she suggested the two of them could have a luncheon. Only after she persisted does he agree. With glee she raced home, already deciding which outfit she was going to wear. Janet checked her answering machine and Lisa left a message, apologizing for her actions in the library and hoping the two of them can still be friends. All of a sudden, Janet realized how childishly she had behaved and experienced a moment of regret, but didn't alter her plans for the lunch date.

On the following afternoon, Janet and Michael had their date, but it was anything but successful for Janet. Michael seemed uninterested in the extravagance Janet surrounded him with. All topics of conversation fell flat, as she put on an air of elegance and superiority. Finally, upon seeing the date as a failure, she stopped trying to impress him and said what was on her mind. She apologized for the way she'd been acting over the past few days and asked for his forgiveness. He responded by saying even though a romantic future might not be in store for them they could still be friends. Then she asked him if he could persuade the librarian to let Lisa back in the library and he agreed then abruptly left. Only five minutes later, Janet got a signal from Mona on the communicator. A monster ran loose in the park, causing mass destruction. Aqua arrived just in time, as the creature managed to render the other heroes immobile. She freed the others and the four destroy the creature, setting back the plans of the Los Malvados once more.

After all the fighting was over, Molly, Melvin, Lisa and Janet were at the mall. Janet and Lisa vowed never to let a man to come between them again. Suddenly they both saw a beautiful outfit that's on sale for $20, and in an instant they were arguing again. Molly chimed in with the closer, "Some people just never learn."

Episode 5 -- Nightshade

The story opened with the attack of a mysterious figure on a schoolgirl (the chubby girl). She was drained of much of her energy and sent to the hospital.

The next day at school, a somber mood overshadowed the students as one their own had "fallen ill" to the mystery illness. Molly and Melvin noticed that this "mystery bug" was similar in effect to an attack of the Negaverse, and that several instances of people being drained of their energy had occurred within the past few weeks. Lisa wondered if this could be the work of Los Malvados, but Melvin noted that unlike them, these attacks were on individuals and not on crowds. Furthermore there was no pattern to the attacks, but there was one common factor...they all occurred in the Salem district of town. They would concentrate their patrols there.

At the same time, Los Malvados were watching the pattern of attacks and realized that the replacement for Aaron is at work. Elizabeth volunteered to find out the one he chose, but Mammon suggested they wait. Since the new carrier held the Legacy, he would end up coming across the Defenders, and with a youthful body, he would destroy them.

That afternoon the Defenders had gathered in the Salem district in their regular identities and began snooping around. During this patrol Lisa, ran into Michael again, who walking with his younger sister, Nicole, home from school. She apologized for how she acted the other day then asked him if he ever found what he was looking for at the library, and he said no. Nicole made a comment about Lisa's face ("Is that a tatoo?"), which brought Michael and Lisa's reunion to an abrupt end as he mentioned that he and his sister have to get home by dark. She told him to be careful because of the mystery illness.

That night, the Defenders came across a middle-aged man being attacked. Each of them transformed and they engaged with the culprit, a pale, male figure who called himself Shade. Aquamarine confronted him head on, while Terra and Aero fired attacks from a distance. Mona tried to trap him with mental projections, but he broke the illusionary bind. Now unable to intervene directly, Mona detected that his very appearance is a disguise. She pushed past it only to recognize the actual person underneath...Michael! She called his name and instantly, he fled.

Mona mentioned this to the others and at first, they contemplated their options. Not far from there, though, another victim was drained of her energy. Aqua restored her energy by dousing her, but the group recognized that Shade had to be dealt with. At the same time, Shade, aware his identity was no longer secret, and resolved to get rid the Defenders. Now stronger after feeding, he attacked them.

They fight, and he nearly obliterated the Defenders. In desperation, Mona took off her mask, revealing her identity. Upon seeing Lisa's face, he stopped this assault, then fled. The sun soon rises shortly afterward.

Episode 6 -- Ill Met by Moonlight

The next day, Lisa convinced the other Defenders that she might be able to get through to Michael. Although Janet was worried most of all, Lisa was determined to get through to him, as she remembered what it was like being influenced by Evelyn. She contacted Michael and they agreed to meet somewhere private...his house.

At the same time, Cain was trying to get answers out of Mina, but she acted as though she did not know him. He mistakenly believed the Defenders have something to do with her current condition and decided to target them at the next full moon, which was that night.

He warned her at the last second that they had a dog. Lisa was apprehensive, as she didn't like dogs. The door opened, and a floppy-eared puppy ran out of the house and toward Lisa. This was Buster, and a Nicole, Michael's sister ran after the little puppy. Lisa went inside, relieved.

Inside the house, Nicole played "gate keeper." ("Mommy told me Lisa can't go upstairs.") Michael and Lisa talked in the den, both explaining their pasts and the changes that have occurred to them. He explained that he has to absorb energy just to live, and that as terrible as it is to attack strangers, it's better than harming his family. Lisa suggested that perhaps the Defenders can help him, but he refused. She left the house before sunset, but the moonlit night is upon her.

On her way home Lisa saw a wolf-like figure. She transforms into Mona and is confronted by Cain. She mentally willed a bouquet of roses to ward him off, but he smells they aren't real so it has no effect. He countered first with a pack of dogs. The dogs were fought off by Shade, who had been following Mona. The two supernatural creatures fight, but the Defenders arrived to stop the fight. Terra let Cain touch the Crystal to feel Mina's soul.

Episode 7-- No Need for Mona*

Mona was feeling useless and began to wonder if her contributions were even needed, as her fighting skills had not improved in spite of the battles she had gone though. In a fight against one of Cecelia's possessed victims, a costly mistake on her part put Aquamarine in harm's way and afterward, she announced she was through with the group.

The next day, a monster attacked a crowd with Lisa in it. She tried to access her powers as Lisa with discretion, but instead finds herself unwittingly turned into Mona. Horrified she refused to fight and hides until the other Defenders arrived and attacked, and she returned to her former appearance and mingled into the crowd.

The next night, Lisa found herself in yet another attack by Los Malvados, and this time she was accompanied by Michael. This time, Jessica and one of her summoned creature came after her, and Lisa did not transform, as since no one else was in danger. Michael stopped the attack, though, revealed himself as Shade in the process. Jessica ran away and left the monster to finish the fight. Despite protecting Lisa, Shade was uninterested in helping the victims and told Lisa that she should not have been concerned either; she no longer wanted to be a hero. Angered, Lisa became Mona once again, and she summons a butterfly-like creature to distract Jessica's monster. Jessica's creature beats hers, but the Defenders destroy Jessica's monster, and noted that while Mona's projection fought Jessica's, they were able to get people to safety.

They looked around for Shade, but he had disappeared. Mona wasn't sure if he did not interfere to get her to realize she had a purpose, or if he genuinely did not care.

Episode 8 -- The Kidnapping of Nicole Alexander*

In this penultimate episode, Los Malvados, tired of getting beaten, decided they needed an advantage against the Defenders. Shade had not come back to them willingly, and despite the influence of the "Legacy" on the newest host, he retained his own agenda.

They kidnapped Michael's younger sister, Nicole, to force him on their side. He came to the Defenders for help, as Shade, and they agreed.

Elizabeth arrives at the warehouse where they kept Nicole with ice cream and cake. Nicole refuses to eat. Jessica protests that Nicole is just a little girl, but Elizabeth counters how many little girls were in the crowds they attacked.

The Defenders and Shade rescue Nicole from the warehouse.

Episode 9 -- Showdown at Nightfall

Lisa was standing in the lunch line at school when suddenly she heard Michael's voice, which sounded as if he were in distress. But she dismissed it as an act of her imagination. Then she heard his voice again with more distinction, this time on her way home from school. Worried, she called his house to see if he was all right. Nicole answered the phone, saying that one of his friends called and told them he would be staying over at their house. But she also added that his friend sounded similar to one of the ones she heard while she had been held captive, and she hadn't been able to calm Buster down. At once, Lisa knew Los Malvados were involved, and called the other Defenders.

Once they got together, Molly, Melvin, Lisa, and Janet figured out the whereabouts of Los Malvados, where they knew Shade would be located. After a short drive they arrived at the hideout of Los Malvados and transformed. Upon entering the building, Mona was instantly separated from the others, and was placed in a windowless dungeon with Shade.

Meanwhile, the Defenders had to contend with the combined tactics of Jessica, Elizabeth, and Cecilia. Cecilia tried to take over Aquamarine's body but is only halfway successful. Jessica, who has been increasingly ambivalent about her role in this affair, decided that didn't doesn't want any part of it and renounces the Faustian deal she made with Liz, who then decides that Jes might as well be a victim alongside Terra and Aero. Terra remarks how could she turn against her friend like that and Liz replies that it's simple...no soul, no remorse!

Aero then gets and idea piecing together all that he's learned and then taunts Cecelia with the proposition of acquiring a better body since she's barely hanging onto this one. Rashly, Cecilia jumps directly into Liz's body. A bright light is released and then Liz is on the ground unconscious while the house loses its warmth. Liz eventually gets up, then goes over to the mirror -- but it's Cecilia's reflection she sees as well as Cecilia's voice they hear. After the initial confusion, Aero explains what has happened. Cecilia was a lone soul unable to move on to the next world after her death. Elizabeth was a Morlock, and a former human who had sold her soul. If you gave the latter a soul, she wouldn't be a Morlock anymore. Terra asks what is she and then Aero answers that she's a human. Jess asks who is she, and Aero replies that in a way she's both, that she has all of Elizabeth's memories, but with many of Cecelia's memories as well as her emotions, etc. Aquamarine comes to, and says she understands completely. Terra and Aero run over to her, but Aqua says enough with the emotion, and that they're not done yet. She calls over to Jessica and Cecilia and tells the two to leave.

Meanwhile, in the dungeon, Shade struggled to keep his distance from Mona, as he hadn't fed in almost a week and begged Mona to finish him off before its too late. She refuses to harm him in any way, and instead asked him to take some of her energy. At first he is reluctant to do this, but as time wore on and the hunger becomes even greater, he finally gave in to his desire and started to take her energy. He only planned to absorb a small amount, but Mona's energy was so warm and pure he can't stop. He manages to pull himself away, but it is too late and Mona falls unconscious, her vital signs weak. Horrified, yet invigorated at what he has done, Shade found himself being released from his prison by Mammon. The two of them shared a wicked smile, and Shade carried Mona to Mammon's throne room in the basement.

The Defenders arrived in the basement, but found Shade, Mammon, and the unconscious Mona at their feet. Aquamarine rushed over to Mona and used her healing power on the moon child, but Mona didn't move. She was about to douse her when Terra stopped her, saying that it was too late, Mammon told them that Shade was on his side once more, and ordered him to destroy the remaining Defenders. Shade stepped forward, but instead of blasting the heroes, he fired his energy at Mammon. The five heroes surrounded Mammon, who made one last plea to Shade, but upon seeing that it is of no use he told him that he will always he a threat to his friends. Nevertheless, the five gathered their energy and destroyed him. However, all of them except Shade collapsed from exhaustion, and a bright light covered them.

The next thing they knew, the Defenders and Shade were in an unknown area, in their human forms! Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Scouts appeared. Serenity's voice told them that they have defended the Crystal well, and that the four defenders could go back to their normal lives. Lisa asked Sailor Moon if she could heal Michael, but Sailor Moon replied that she wasn't powerful enough to do such a task. The souls of the Sailor Scouts vanished, and the remaining five realized it was a dream.

The five of them were returned consciousness outside the enemy base, La Mesa de Los Malvados. Cecelia and Jessica were there to to help them wake up. Cecilia was still a bit confused, but Janet told her that she and Lisa would help her out, only to turn to Lisa and find that she was not there. Shade walked away from the group, perceiving himself as a threat to his friends. Lisa and the others declared that they'll stick by him until the end, and the sunrise reinforced this message.

*To be honest, neither Episode 7 nor Episode 8 were ever planned out in great detail, and if I were to ever write them, I'd probably combine the two.

The Visitor

It was a stormy night when Serena woke in a cold sweat. She just had a strange nightmare in which she was fighting Evelyn. All her friends watched in horror as the Arrow of Annihilation struck her directly into her heart. Before she died in the dream, Serena came back to the world of consciousness just before falling asleep once again, this time having a more peaceful dream.

The next day Serena tried to focus on the lessons at school, but the nightmare pervaded through everything she saw. After school, Mina suggested a trip to the mall is just what she needed. Lita agreed and said they should go to the new mall that opened up on the outskirts outside town.

That night, a spacecraft crashed through the ceiling of the mall, landing in the food court. Lita, Serena, and Mina happened to be window shopping at the jewelry store when they heard the noise and the ensuing panic. Thinking the source of the trouble is the Negaverse, the three transformed and rushed to the scene. They then saw a teenaged alien, who was a dead ringer for Ann, floating in mid-air. A few of those the crowd stood their ground threw objects at her, none of them even coming close to hitting her. Upon the arrival of the Sailor Scouts, they ran, knowing that the fighters for justice were there, the threat would be taken care of. Instead of fighting them, the young alien descended to the ground, and told them her story.

Her name was Aliana. She was sent by Alan and Ann to report on how things are going on Earth as well as to learn about the planet. She had heard of the Sailor Scouts and asked them if they could be her guides while she was here on a Earth. They agreed, but told her that she might want to "blend in" a little, and Aliana put on her human disguise.

The next day at Crossroads, the class was introduced to a new student, Alana Starr(Aliana). She impressed her classmates with her knowledge of math, science, and grammar, but has a lot of trouble with history, which frustrates her. Nevertheless, Serena and her friends are determined to make Aliana's visit as pleasant as possible and after school they show her around the city. Little do they know that Evelyn is watching their every move, setting her sights on Aliana.

Her chance came when Aliana invited Serena and the others to her space craft. Serena was studying the Aliana's cards while Raye asked her if she knew how to play the flute. Aliana replied that she could, and played a tune on the reed flute. Forgetting that the same tune could activate the Cardians, Aliana played her flute, unleashing three Cardians into the city. Aliana tried to tell the Cardians to stop, but they refused to listen, and went out to collect energy. The Scouts had no choice but to destroy the Cardians, leaving Aliana by herself. It was then Evelyn began to seed thoughts in her mind, telling her the Sailor Scouts didn't want her around. She let Evelyn into her mind and instantly began to transform. She started to look more like her human disguise, except she was in a Sailor uniform. Aliana and Evelyn both realized whom she really was. She was Sailor Andromeda, the forgotten Scout, and she began attacking the Sailor Scouts. After a measure of success, the Evelyn persona began to overwhelm Sailor Andromeda, turning her into an Evelyn avatar.

Evelyn fired the Arrow of Annihilation straight at Sailor Moon. Instantly, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter surrounded Sailor Moon. In response, the arrow simply floated in mid air. The Scouts tried to attack it, but none of their powers were effective against it. Evelyn boasted that this is her ultimate arrow and that it cannot be destroyed and never misses its target. She claimed that all it would take is a split second for the Scouts to let their guards down and the arrow would launch itself at Sailor Moon. Moon told the others to let the arrow hit her, that she can't avoid it anyway. Mars turned to her and looked at her in disbelief, allowing the opening the arrow needed. It struck Sailor Moon directly in the brooch, and embedded itself into her heart.

The next thing Sailor Moon knew, she was in the mental plane with Evelyn. Evelyn saw that Sailor Moon was body so close to death, wants to take over it while Moon was in such weakened condition. Sailor Moon on the other hand, wasn't about to give up her life without a fight. The two battled in the void, each with nothing to lose but their lives, and Sailor Moon's body as the prize. In the fight, Evelyn revealed that she was Malachite's sister, which caused Sailor Moon to falter as she remembered the general's death. Drawing upon the strength of her friends, though, Sailor Moon destroyed Evelyn, but was surprised to hear the creature laugh so heartily at her death.

Andromeda came to, free of Evelyn's influence, and she decided to end her visit and went back to her home world.

Seed of Evil

The Scouts thought Evelyn was long gone, but she wasn't. In fact, when the Arrow of Annihilation hit, that arrow contained a piece of Eveyln that inserted itself in to the corner of Serena's heart, and soon Serena, as pure-hearted as she was, succumbed to the evil. However, unlike the previous incarnations of Evelyn where host and Evelyn only partially merged, Serena and Evelyn truly merge into one, very very powerful -- yep, Princess Nyx. Worst of all, she had control over the Crystal, but fortunately, through the efforts of all the good guys, Serena gets turned back to normal, her soul is purified, and the last vestiges of Evelyn were sent to hell. Just in time for the opening of Sailor Moon S.

If only I had a nickel for every time I dreamed up a "Sailor Moon" fanfiction. Perhaps my favourite format is the "season six" structure. My mind often wanders back to a story after the end of "Sailor Stars" in which the enemy is a house of fashion designers who target people for their genius. I'd say more, but I don't want to give everything away in case I ever get into writing the story for real.

i was going to do a winxclub type deal and have the five inners attening a sailor senshi academy which uranus, neptune and pluto were teachers and human luna was headmistress

later i realized that idea was stupid and gave up on it.

and i was going to do my own sailor zodiac story concerning the aftermath of the sailor wars. which Ophiuchus as the main villian seeking to reinstate shadow galactica as a universe wide dictatorship but i gave that up too

This actually amuses the hell out of me, and I'm not even familiar with Winx Club.

its basically a modern fairy tail... sorta.

http://winx.wikia.com/wiki/Winx_Club_Wiki :3

the first season is like sailor moon, bloom finds out shes a fairy and becomes part of a group of four other girls and then later she find out shes the princess of the dead planet Domino (said planet isnt revived untill the first movie) but thats where the similarities end.

this is the show that got me into faries

Well, it's not a discarded idea then if you're worried about giving it away.

For years, that's the way I felt about my fanfic. Then I realized I'd never actually write most of the stories for real and decided to dump the summaries in this thread.

Reviving this thread just for the heck of it.

My more-or-less discarded ideas:

The first one takes place during the Silver Millennium before Princess Serenity met Endymion. Serenity plots to steal the Guardian Senshi's boyfriends because all the males that used to fawn over her were taken away by them, so she feels it's only fair she takes away the men the Senshi love.

The second one takes place before the Silver Millennium when the first Selenity who hates Zeus and challenged the God of Thunder for rule over Mount Olympus. She lost and fled to the Moon, and still holding onto the grudge, she implanted her ideals into her descendents via the Ginzuishou. Flash-forward to present day, after the battle against Galaxia. With Usagi at her strongest form, she finally succumbed to the Ginzuishou's dark whisperings and kills the Senshi, absorbing their star seeds. Still in her power-lust, she taps into Pluto's dimension-hopping abilities and jumps to the various dimensions to find the power artifacts to make herself God.

I once toyed with the idea of having each Senshi be reborn into a different country, but then I realized how much unnecessary busy work that would create, and promptly dropped it. If anyone else can make the idea work better than I could of, you're welcome to use it.
