Post your "what if" speculations or ideas to the new anime and give your opinion, insight or wtf's.

What if all the senshi(except maybe :setsuna:) are of the same age around 14?
What if :hotaru: goes to the same school with :usagi: or the inners study at mugen academy?
What if the first season only has :usagi: in it?
What if the main villain isn't Beryl?

What if Chibi-"I just screwed up your relationship"-Usagi didn't mess up the timeline?

And my favorite which I will play with: What if Ryo "I just punched out Daemon Princess Beryl", the unknown priest, and Crane Machine Joe teamed up, and kicked some ass, then died like heroes in Day of Destiny. (and got resurrected as well)

Even better, Ryo (I really love this guy) should get to 'interact' with the outer senshi in exactly the way you're thinking, given that they'd end up taking his request to Ami seriously.

I actually like her solo missions with Classic and wished there were more.
same here but I also like the Moon, Mercury, Mars trio eps too
I'd wished they'd rotate who to awaken. It always starts with :ami:, :rei:, :mako: and always last with :minako:.

I'm hoping they'd start with :minako: or :mako:. I can picture the first episode of the new anime with :usagi: and Naru going to a concert of Idol V.

I like that too, it's different but it could work

I wish they remembered to give Mako also her flower power. Flower Hurricane wasn't in the anime. They should give the senshi a wider range of abilities anyway, like in the manga or PGSM. The only one who got more abilities besides her attacks in the anime was Rei. :(

What if they took the designs of the fukus from the manga (with the belts)?

What if they actually introduce some truly recurring adversaries for the Sailors? I mean, the kind that continue to pop up between and possibly even during story arcs as frequent troublemakers? It would better prove that Sailor Moon's purpose to the city is more constant, since evil never rests or waits its turn for others.

What if we get some more Sailor Moon-solo episodes? The other Sailors can't always be there for her, so it would be nice to know that SM can always hold her own in a fight for when those moments happen.

I think that could be a good idea, maybe we could get hints about Chaos from the very start of the Dark Kingdom arc? I like that the manga sort of tied all of the arcs together loosely, with the fact that all the villains were looking for the Silver Crystal and the whole idea of the major villains being incarnations of Chaos... But I think they could bring it together even more.

WHAT IF - Minako is once again a sort of cold, J-pop idol? To be honest, I think it worked for the live action, but I prefer genki Minako over SUPER SERIOUS FACE Minako for the anime. However, I think they should show a more serious side, instead of completely dialing down Minako's cool factor like what the old anime did.

These What-ifs are projecting into the future a lot, but I'd like to think they will adapt all of the manga:

WHAT IF - Naoko redesigns the upgraded Sailor forms? I'm a little ambivalent about her messing around with Super Sailor Moon, but I think Eternal Sailor Moon looks way too dated, and the Eternal-inspired upgrades for the other Sailor Senshi are just plain ugly. In other words, I wouldn't mind if she got rid of the bowling ball sleeves. I think the original sailor suit we see in the Dark Kingdom arc is just so iconic that when you mess around with it too much you get some really awful results (see Starlights).

WHAT IF - (Speaking of) The Starlights are relegated to extras just as Naoko intended it? I would not mind personally because--in the anime--I felt their shtick was a little too close to the Outers in S. To be honest, I'd rather the new anime expanded the roles of Sailor Lethe and Sailor Mnemosyne because they're interesting and don't look like butch, outer space hookers.

Not just other demons and whatnot, but maybe some Earth-based enemies as well. Not every threat to Tokyo is a Chaos-born creature of evil, and not every human on the planet is as nice and peaceful as Usagi would want them to be.

It's actually my headcanon/fanwank that this is how the senshi spend the intervening years between Stars and the rise of Crystal Tokyo, for both the anime and the manga.

What if they didn't focus on the future so much, or even eliminate it all together, with the exception of using it as a plot for the Dark Moon family, PERIOD. Don't need Chibi-Usa, since she really isn't that effective before she gets her own little team (and her chalice). It's just an over-used cliche, that can be not used and still have a good show. Besides, we ALREADY know all about what's supposed to happen, and blah blah blah.
