Same here, but Tadano isn't bad at all - just not as good IMO. :)
Tadano was good as well. However in those pictures I see that Itoh's drawings have more details and the perspectives are on point. Tadano's are more ' flat '.

I've always been a big fan of this Art Style - those of the S era are stunning!
Unfortunately, this artist never worked on the series itself.

One of my all times favorite illustration of the 3 Outers; everyone looks stunning here!

Chibi-Usa looking slightly older gives off a completely different vibe!

Actually all of these 3 illustrations were used in a French anime magazine that I bought in 2006 to introduce the S season.
It mentioned Chibi-Usa coming back from the future to aid the girls so I always thought that she would have been slightly aged up becoming a Senshi herself.

This one looks straight out of a shoujo manga!

Probably an artist from Kodansha.

I love Saturn's facial expression.
Me too - wish there were a solo poster of her in full body from it. :D

Kinda reminds me of Mari Tominaga actally.
I can see that, especially on the detailed hair.
I guess we can describe it as a Hisashi Kagawa X Mari Tominaga mix.

Probably an artist from Kodansha. Toei
Generally these illustrators are unfortunately left unnamed and all that is credited is Toei Animation T_T

Other gorgeous illustrations of the same Art Style from the Stars era ::love::

So Toei did those on-print only arts for Kodansha's publications, Banpresto's trading cards, etc.? :)
Well, they follow the character designs of Toei, don't they?
Since Sailor Moon was a Media Mix production, these companies simply commissioned them from Toei studios

Kagawa did do those SuperS illustrations from Takeuchi's concepts and they were published under Kodansha.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Takeuchi also did do the roughs for this collection of illustrations.

^ I always like the cover arts of those film comics - too bad they've never published the ones for Stars (nor the anime album for that season). *sigh*
