I have heard many rumors, all of them meritless, as far as I am aware:
Naoko Takeuchi doesn’t like the 90’s anime
Naoko Takeuchi and Kunihiko Ikuhara dislike each other
Kunihiko Ikuhara tied/chained himself to a desk while working on an episode
Kunihiko Ikuhara kept the animators inside a building and didn’t allow them to go outside during the making of the R movie
As for Naoko Takeuchi, she expressed discontentment because:
1. Kodansha discontinued RunRun, the magazine that serialized Sailor V and was responsible for a Sailor V OVA.
2. She wished TOEI had continued animating Sailor Moon after episode 200, so that she could possibly introduce Sailor Cosmos.
3. Kodansha lost 7 pages of the new manga she was hoping to complete, PQ Angels.
She is very polite and not as direct or straightforward as her husband; he got angry at one of his editors for nor allowing him to have Kuwabara in the last arc of Yu Yu Hakusho. If you want to read outrageous and scandalous things, you should read about Naoko’s husband, Yoshihiro Togashi. He supposedly has a beef even with his own fans and when he is sick or doesn’t want to work, he tells people to leave him alone.
